the Bunny

I have loved this bunny from the first time I saw him. A dear friend sent me some die cuts of him (thank-you again) and then another dear friend bought the die and sent it to me (another huge thanks) and I haven't been able to put it down too much since I got it LOL I made this card with 3 of those little bunnies hiding in the grass along with 3 tiny eggs that are hidden with them. The large pink panel was done with a Papertrey ink stamp embossed with white EP and a Gina Marie Designs Venetian label die. The sentiment was a snipped portion of a SSS pre-printed one, and the pre-embossed woodgrain cardstock is also by SSS. The grass dies are by SNSS and I stenciled in a few pale clouds in the sky for those stamped SNSS birds to fly in.

Masculine Birthday

I made this card some time ago and never got around to posting it. I used old (r) SU! designer papers for the vertical strip as well as the die-cut numbers and stitched panel they're sitting on. The background was embossed with an older Cuttlebug birthday embossing folder and I added a pre-printed SSS sentiment along with 3 golden brads to finish this one.

I'm sharing this with the AAA birthday Game #52 - A/G

Bermuda Bay Birthday

I made this card after watching a video by the Paper Pixie where she used 3 sizes of circle die-cuts to make this design. I had a few precious snippets of leftover Bermuda Bay designer paper and decided to give this technique a go. I used 3 Spellbinder circle dies and got started. I used a WeRMemoryKeepers Gemstone embossing folder to create the background, then used a pre-printed Simon Says Stamp sentiment matted with black. For the final touch, I added 3 drops of Nuvo black drops.

I'll share this with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - Emboss it

Thanks so much for stopping by and I wish you all a very happy and healthy weekend ahead!

Happy July 4th!

Today in the US we celebrate our country's freedom by honoring the red, white, and blue along with fireworks that light up the night sky.
I made a card in celebration of July 4th and used the patriotic colors of our US flag. The top portion was embossed with a tiny stars ef by Darice. The middle panel was made by cutting 3 Simon Says Stamp star borders from all 3 colors and then inlaying the red and blue stars on the white background. The lower portion of the card was done with a Winnie & Walter Sparkle stamp set, embossed with gold, silver, red, and white embossing powders. The Celebrate sentiment was heat-embossed with white on navy and done with a stamp from SU!'s Amazing You set; then cut with a SNSS ticket die. For the final touch I added some tiny silver, clear, and white sequin stars all over the card.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge - red, white, and/or blue

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - red, white, and/or blue

the Paper Players PP400 - Celebration theme challenge

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a safe and happy July 4th if you're celebrating today
