Vicki of <a href="https://stampedsmiles.com/" target="_blank">Stamped Smiles </a>sent me this amazing folding carton die from Taylored Expressions along with that wonderful little sentiment die. Also my sweet friend<a href="https://creativecraftsbylynn.blogspot.com/" target="_blank"> Lynn </a> (who is taking a break from blogging) sent me this adorable little bunny die recently so I had to use him on these cartons. He's holding a tiny little egg with an itty bitty heart in it, so I die cut the heart in 2 different colors and swapped the negatives LOL These cartons are filled with Easter goodies and are going to my awesome neighbors. His is the green version, and hers is the one with flowers. I added 2 tiny sparkly stickers to the sentiment panels on each one and tied them with some vanilla colored twine.</div><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFPBy2pAy7gQHkaJ5joYvka8MaSwEsq6KNJHq96zkq4HSQPF2uNwO88-LTF9_rJdn9bAimrty3nq04cUNEEmPYCnVs4HGZghqAf1TnpoUAml4EG_qppNhh6m-DeA7YDPL9ydLHmzaRsmv8kZKOfv7MpL_4cWxelssnqAdOPGK7XYHaVLfOJyejXuEBHGJs/s1527/DW2.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="879" data-original-width="1527" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFPBy2pAy7gQHkaJ5joYvka8MaSwEsq6KNJHq96zkq4HSQPF2uNwO88-LTF9_rJdn9bAimrty3nq04cUNEEmPYCnVs4HGZghqAf1TnpoUAml4EG_qppNhh6m-DeA7YDPL9ydLHmzaRsmv8kZKOfv7MpL_4cWxelssnqAdOPGK7XYHaVLfOJyejXuEBHGJs/w522-h300/DW2.jpg" width="522" /></a></div><p style="text-align: center;">I decided to create a basket to hold these cartons so I made one with pink cardstock and added SU! embossed basket weave panels to all 4 sides, along with an Echo Park die-cut Easter sentiment. A dear friend sent me some die cuts of him (thank-you again) and then another dear friend bought the die and sent it to me (another huge thanks) and I haven't been able to put it down too much since I got it LOL I made this card with 3 of those little bunnies hiding in the grass along with 3 tiny eggs that are hidden with them. The large pink panel was done with a Papertrey ink stamp embossed with white EP and a Gina Marie Designs Venetian label die. The sentiment was a snipped portion of a SSS pre-printed one, and the pre-embossed woodgrain cardstock is also by SSS. This cow image is too much fun and I added a SNSS sentiment that works perfectly for the cow springing into the air LOL I stenciled a little blue sky in and added some pale green grass with a Copic marker. I added a stamped butterfly and tiny bee image from SNSS just for fun. The sentiment panel was a snippet of watercolored paper that was leftover from a previous project and I added another flower and another little bee to it just for fun. It's all on a spring green card base. Spring is almost here where I live, but we're not quite there yet. It's just around the corner though hopefully. I used Copics and glaze pens to color the image and mounted it on a piece of bright yellow cardstock. I found a strip of designer paper that seemed to match the soft coral cardstock and found another strip of dark purple cardstock that coordinated with the big bow around her neck, so I embossed that with a SU! dots ef and punched the end with a hexagon punch to give it a fishtail look. The sentiment is a pre-printed one from Simon Says Stamp and I had a narrow strip of the yellow cardstock, so I glued it behind the sentiment just for fun.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">I'm sharing this with</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"> <a href="https://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/2024/03/pbsc-march-anything-goesoptional-easter.html" target="_blank">the Penny Black Saturday Challenge for March</a> -</div><div style="text-align: center;">A/G *optional "Easter"</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"> <a href="https://allsortschallenge.blogspot.com/2024/03/week-770.html" target="_blank">the Allsorts Challenge #770</a> - Spring or A/G</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://thefourseasonschallenge.blogspot.com/2024/03/spring-season-march-2024-challenge.html" target="_blank">The Four Seasons March 2024 Challenge </a>- Spring</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhPCVDcqOrS3yy-gC12FmVQCI_SV88eBMNG1EeE7mXM2KXA9LZzGZ1k_0KIiJ8qgZX3_YrkmUPWuiE2CfJGPboDII9APWS_X1kybOlmoNQRp2kAk8XtBCNc5aE518jK7tTxwNLGYQfdOLujIH7vvwnsNNOV6gjZyCe4GWVql1fKX4qVlxOsQvAco9CZN2Bq" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="304" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhPCVDcqOrS3yy-gC12FmVQCI_SV88eBMNG1EeE7mXM2KXA9LZzGZ1k_0KIiJ8qgZX3_YrkmUPWuiE2CfJGPboDII9APWS_X1kybOlmoNQRp2kAk8XtBCNc5aE518jK7tTxwNLGYQfdOLujIH7vvwnsNNOV6gjZyCe4GWVql1fKX4qVlxOsQvAco9CZN2Bq=w152-h200" width="152" /></a></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Thanks for the visit and as always, I wish you the best possible day.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #351c75; font-family: Homemade Apple; font-size: medium;"><b><i>Carol</i></b></span></div><p></p>Carol Lhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04695974378294164512noreply@blogger.com19tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3594616956798307092.post-37163209015542949842024-02-29T08:56:00.000-05:002024-02-29T08:56:05.068-05:00Happy Heart Day<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxhjB4-u1H1g2Dshw4N8MF1ITXi9A9tAr_UGgzR1YY7SY1b5sHj6ckTPzgXVFuLtTc06zuUjDIFC4QlBSHiGa5F4Pz6MK2_QcVOH4R9Nk1LOCwnmq7823HhWJ_W_LyCJmyF59SxrIDcJFG_q7YBQNXvzkSNn-xOkHBlFq1GgtR6V7h9nwRPKUARa_4JLJb/s1348/MK.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1068" data-original-width="1348" height="381" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxhjB4-u1H1g2Dshw4N8MF1ITXi9A9tAr_UGgzR1YY7SY1b5sHj6ckTPzgXVFuLtTc06zuUjDIFC4QlBSHiGa5F4Pz6MK2_QcVOH4R9Nk1LOCwnmq7823HhWJ_W_LyCJmyF59SxrIDcJFG_q7YBQNXvzkSNn-xOkHBlFq1GgtR6V7h9nwRPKUARa_4JLJb/w479-h381/MK.jpg" width="479" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"> I made this card with remnants from my stash that have been around for quite some time. The inside looks like this:</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3zOY_-L5r1DvPbknbOCye5ctm6LUTDtoKfUgxI_u2XFasOA8qgaa7hSUatVrQdkUJWOJkT9MT79CHEWgzakueWcLg7nXNDyPwk8XEmYhGFPneBS_FyrgARE4itvs9HWbl_tuntkOl_emJikFL7yKEY5HlnwEe44HXkU1fvxsOy_miJ_zjOA4RitRRbH6h/s1110/StPats%20inside.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1110" data-original-width="917" height="436" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3zOY_-L5r1DvPbknbOCye5ctm6LUTDtoKfUgxI_u2XFasOA8qgaa7hSUatVrQdkUJWOJkT9MT79CHEWgzakueWcLg7nXNDyPwk8XEmYhGFPneBS_FyrgARE4itvs9HWbl_tuntkOl_emJikFL7yKEY5HlnwEe44HXkU1fvxsOy_miJ_zjOA4RitRRbH6h/w360-h436/StPats%20inside.jpg" width="360" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I will share my card with these challenges:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-anything-goes-114/" target="_blank">Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge</a> - A/G</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://shoppingourstash.blogspot.com/2024/02/sos516-its-not-easy-being-green.html" target="_blank">Shopping our Stash SOS516 </a>- It's Not Easy Being Green</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://cyhtp.blogspot.com/2024/02/anything-goes-embossing-with-twist-of.html" target="_blank">Can You Handle the Pressure February Challenge</a> - A/G using an EF</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">with an optional twist of squares and/or circles.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Thanks for stopping by and I wish you the best possible day today.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="color: #351c75; font-family: Homemade Apple; font-size: medium;"><b><i>Carol</i></b></span></div><p></p>Carol Lhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04695974378294164512noreply@blogger.com15tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3594616956798307092.post-75676014228745553802024-02-26T07:24:00.002-05:002024-02-26T07:24:27.925-05:00Winter Frost Christmas Card<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnla1XhY6qvWXpQ9D_ldijlBgjRD1SHaV3isKiqHjbS3SlHXubUnVuDCCU0M7zCDILeRisIEo09YayLB9zbhAeFsL_9URHd2P8haZyTZQzBH9BvUmMRNmfmV7Y0TCrA2uE2JXeKsrXCevonzLNrqQ88SbLolUAei-tzzhmOJflARFYgY-6m63G_1KY3I0r/s1346/WinterFrost2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1059" data-original-width="1346" height="391" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnla1XhY6qvWXpQ9D_ldijlBgjRD1SHaV3isKiqHjbS3SlHXubUnVuDCCU0M7zCDILeRisIEo09YayLB9zbhAeFsL_9URHd2P8haZyTZQzBH9BvUmMRNmfmV7Y0TCrA2uE2JXeKsrXCevonzLNrqQ88SbLolUAei-tzzhmOJflARFYgY-6m63G_1KY3I0r/w497-h391/WinterFrost2.jpg" width="497" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"> Today I'm sharing a Christmas card made with some non-traditional colors. I pulled out some older Nestabilities dies to cut the red and yellow panels and then used a stitched circle die to place the 7 on. I added a few matching mini brads to match. The side panel was done with a SSS hexagon border die that I've had for ages. I die-cut strips of colorful cardstock too and inserted the negatives into the little hexagon holes to add more color and fun. The sentiment was cut twice and layered for a little dimension. This 5x7 card began with a herringbone background that was made with strips of SU! retired designer papers. I stamped the Penny Black Valentine recipe card along with the little mug and pot as well as a Unity Alfie stamped image, coloring with Copics and a red glaze pen. I fussy cut the mug and pot and placed them on die-cut stitched circles of silver mirri card. I backed the 2 images with light grey and dark grey cardstock and added a few glittered punched hearts done with 2 SU! mini punches. The heart borders were done with a Martha Stewart punch and I added pink hearts in the negative spaces. I added some silver sparkly washi tape and embossed the top and bottom of the card base with a (r) mini hearts embossing folder from SU!. This Valentine took a while to put together but it's worth it because it's been sent to a couple who will soon be celebrating their 50th anniversary.</div><p></p><p style="text-align: center;">I'm entering this card into the following challenges:</p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://cardz4guyz.blogspot.com/2024/02/340-love.html" target="_blank">Cardz4Guyz #340</a> - Love</p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://tuesdaytaggers.blogspot.com/2024/02/hearts-andor-flowers.html" target="_blank">Try it on Tuesday </a>- Hearts and/or Flowers</p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-love-is-in-the-air-3/" target="_blank">Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge -</a> Love is in the Air</p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://themaleroomchallengeblog.blogspot.com/2024/02/challenge-183-valentineuse-heart.html" target="_blank">the Male Room Challenge #183 </a>- Valentine or use a Heart</p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://daranddiane.blogspot.com/2024/02/heartfelt-challenge.html" target="_blank">the Double D Challenge</a> - Heartfelt</p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/2024/02/pbsc-february-anything-goesoptional.html" target="_blank">The PBSC February Penny Black Saturday Challenge </a>- A/G *optional wings</p><p style="text-align: center;">Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day today filled with sunshine and lots of love!</p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #351c75; font-family: Homemade Apple; font-size: medium;"><b><i>Carol</i></b></span></p>Carol Lhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04695974378294164512noreply@blogger.com26tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3594616956798307092.post-16607538911857490312024-02-05T08:13:00.000-05:002024-02-05T08:13:04.049-05:00Valentine's Day Card<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjS25PRMG91brpFsWVi1tiFVSbLXiK6NvR2V-O08Dw0pUmcPjlvpFDJzYBvFrF2E0mBTle3oUBtBE8qhayvRVbIgUlU9GGY7jMdMw7dme-B9qBI1C4Ekfw5vSlDas38jrHAUFbmYtn04RYl12QBk-v-HghJcbyfxtqmV2dJi_LBEnqZYe0tyl9_-bGr-LVO/s1987/SSS%20LoveBunny%20silver.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1987" data-original-width="1549" height="457" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjS25PRMG91brpFsWVi1tiFVSbLXiK6NvR2V-O08Dw0pUmcPjlvpFDJzYBvFrF2E0mBTle3oUBtBE8qhayvRVbIgUlU9GGY7jMdMw7dme-B9qBI1C4Ekfw5vSlDas38jrHAUFbmYtn04RYl12QBk-v-HghJcbyfxtqmV2dJi_LBEnqZYe0tyl9_-bGr-LVO/w356-h457/SSS%20LoveBunny%20silver.jpg" width="356" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;">Here's a simple Valentine I made from leftover strips of designer paper from an old SU! paper pad. Wouldn't it be wonderful if love could be spread all around the world with the wind?</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Sharing with the following challenges:</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-add-some-texture/" target="_blank">Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge</a> - Add some Texture</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://cardz4galz.blogspot.com/2024/01/reds-andor-pinks-hearts-galore.html" target="_blank">Cards 4 Galz </a>- Red and/or Pinks Hearts Galore</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic day.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #351c75; font-family: Homemade Apple; font-size: medium;"><b><i>Carol</i></b></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><p></p>Carol Lhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04695974378294164512noreply@blogger.com19tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3594616956798307092.post-19214126096310795902024-01-22T04:34:00.000-05:002024-01-22T04:34:00.456-05:00Here For You<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9jFrZFxjwMdqyGi-NcX1YR_HTLcAHvwxPrkExTeT_cxns10mtifuzExuYTo3sQYDzqRnyJBE_rjf4lKnb44CSqMoBV722-uTId1KBWmXY371Bq4Ew8MOR-LMc01dDyXV2PRlkXqw84l2IlPfdpMtWLhDUiNUgelvT6c2VBNiiV3OKMBOoaDIVGKDcTqj5/s1051/Here%20for%20You.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="802" data-original-width="1051" height="374" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9jFrZFxjwMdqyGi-NcX1YR_HTLcAHvwxPrkExTeT_cxns10mtifuzExuYTo3sQYDzqRnyJBE_rjf4lKnb44CSqMoBV722-uTId1KBWmXY371Bq4Ew8MOR-LMc01dDyXV2PRlkXqw84l2IlPfdpMtWLhDUiNUgelvT6c2VBNiiV3OKMBOoaDIVGKDcTqj5/w491-h374/Here%20for%20You.jpg" width="491" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"> A dear friend gifted me with these beautiful papers a while ago and after making several cards, I had a few strips left over that I didn't want to waste. I also had some strips of retired SU! pastel green designer papers that were a perfect match, so I played with them until I came up with this design. I also added some thin strips of dark green cardstock snippets to add contrast. I placed it on another snippet of a matching blue cardstock and was rather pleased with the overall look. Then another generous and sweet friend recently sent me this adorable bunny image and I thought he looked perfect sitting on this panel. I added a tiny red heart to his chest and used a SU! sentiment from 2016 and called this one done.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">I'm sharing this over at <a href="https://pixiessnippetsplayground.blogspot.com/2024/01/challenge-472.html" target="_blank">the Snippets Playground #472</a> since the whole card was made from snippets.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Heartfelt thanks to all of my thoughtful dear friends who generously share crafty items with me.
