Here's a card I made for the
CASology #39 challenge where the cue card word is "travel." I paper pieced this A Muse art stamp called "doggie bag" with some pink striped dsp and used the SU! tag punches with a piece of matching ribbon. The sentiment is by Hero Arts, and I thought this would be a fun card for OWH soldiers to send home to their families.
Lately, I've been loving pink & black together, and today's
OWH Stars and Stamps midweek throwdown is to use our favorite color combination. My all-time favorite combo is purple & green, but I can't make every card with those colors, so I move on to new favorites all the time. Here's my current fav....
I won't even mention how long this card took to put together, but I made some good use of pink & black scraps! I used the SU! hexagon ef and hand-cut all those hexes and placed them into the embossed background. I don't know why, but I always enjoy doing intricate work like this. It's very time consuming, but I find it relaxing! I used some pretty in pink dsp, a SB labels 18 die with white pearl card stock, and a SB fancy tags 2 die cut for the sentiment panel. I used some pink polka dot ribbon along with pink twine and a Sweet'n Sassy sentiment.
I'm also entering this into
Pixie's Crafty Snippet Playground #67 since I used mostly scraps to put this together!
Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you all have a fabulous day!
