Spring Has Sprung (almost)

I recently unearthed a little pack of Penny Black stamped images I've had for a long time so I decided it was time to make cards with them. This cow image is too much fun and I added a SNSS sentiment that works perfectly for the cow springing into the air LOL I stenciled a little blue sky in and added some pale green grass with a Copic marker. I added a stamped butterfly and tiny bee image from SNSS just for fun. The sentiment panel was a snippet of watercolored paper that was leftover from a previous project and I added another flower and another little bee to it just for fun. It's all on a spring green card base. Spring is almost here where I live, but we're not quite there yet. It's just around the corner though hopefully. I'm really weary from all the rainy days we've had since the beginning of the year.

the Penny Black Saturday March Challenge - use a PB image/sentiment - A/G
optional "Easter"

optional "Easter / Spring theme"

Happy Spring

Spring is just around the corner, so I decided to make a card to welcome the warmer weather. I found this assembled die-cut butterfly in my snippets box - all ready to be used on a card. I embossed the background with an Anna Griffin embossing folder, added a piece of orange and white checked ribbon and a Spellbinders grommet tag die-cut sentiment panel with a Sweet 'n Sassy stamped sentiment. I added a few metal brads just for fun and to use up some of my collection I've accumulated through the years. Here's hoping spring comes sooner than later - I'm ready for warm weather!

Happy Spring

I'm tired of winter and looking forward to spring's arrival, so I made this card. I started by taking strips of retired SU! dsp and lining them up in a row, then after adhering, I cross cut them and arranged them into a little pattern. After that, I die-cut that piece with a stitched circle die. I die-cut a smaller circle, then stenciled clouds with some Tumbled Glass ink, and stamped a SNSS image and colored it with Copics and glaze pens. I had one strip of the snippets left over, so I cut it in half and placed it on an unused strip of the blue to make the border. The background was embossed with an Anna Griffin ef and the final touch was a little twine bow.

I'll enter this into the following challenges:

Can You Handle the Pressure?- use an EF with a twist of "think spring"

Cardz 4 Galz #167 - things with wings

Little Red Wagon #642 - make it stitched

Happy Spring!

I got a little silly while playing with the Tim Holtz bunny dies and decided to dress them up in flowery Easter outfits with some little pink gemstones around the collar! 😊 Since they won't all fit together on an A2 card, I made 2 cards. This one has both a small and large Lawn Fawn die-cut stitched sun, along with some SNSS stamped bees, a butterfly, flower, and die-cut grass.

Here are the other two bunnies from the set leaping for joy together with a spattered background. The sentiment and stamped images are all from SNSS.

After a long, cold winter - I'm ready to do some spring leaping too (if only I could) 😏
