Autumn Cards

I used a Brutus Monroe stamp set to create these cards and used 2 different sentiments in the center of each wreath. I stamped everything with Versamark and then gold embossed before coloring with assorted markers.

Here's another version that was done on PTI soft stone cardstock for a softer color card base than plain white.

I'll enter the first card into these challenges:

Fall Fun

I have another fall card to share with you today. Someone sent me this Newton's Nook image a long time ago and I finally colored it with Copics and glaze pens and used a stitched square die to cut it. I used a Lil Inker stitched rectangle die to cut the card base, and then added a piece of Lawn Fawn dsp with tiny leaves, embossed with a Darice ef. I lightly swiped an antique linen ink pad over the embossed panel to highlight the leaves in the pattern. I added 3 retired SU! enamel dots and added a matching sentiment panel and called this one done.

I hope you enjoy a wonderful Sunday and as always, thanks for stopping by.

Autumn Leaves

Someone sent me this stamped image a long time ago (I think it's by Newton's Nook) and I finally got around to using it. I colored it with Copics and cut it with a stitched square die. The white background was done with a Lawn Fawn swirled clouds cover die and then the dark green piece of dsp was die cut with a MFT fishtail banner die. I added some die-cut Lawn Fawn leaves along with a matching sentiment that was cut into a banner shape and matted with another piece of cardstock. I added 3 random assorted Nuvo drops of color to finish this card. All the designer papers are from a Lawn Fawn fall paper pad I got last year.

I'll share this with the following challenges:

Fall is my favorite time of the year, but it seems like October rolled around with lightning speed this year for some reason! Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by.

Falling Leaves

I've had a great paper pad from Lawn Fawn since last year and wanted to use more of it now that fall is here. It has tiny leaves, acorns and flowers in the prints and I love the colors. I cut 4 panels with MFT stitched horizontal dies, and added a die-cut Nestabilities leaf tied with a little twine bow. The ticket die-cut sentiment was done with SNSS dies and a stamp. The little leaf is a negative from a MS border punch and the acorns were die-cut with a Nestabilities die and covered with a little bit of Wink of Stella gold glitter pen.

I'll share this with the Allsorts challenge #748 - Autumn trees, leaves and berries or A/G

Thanks for stopping by and have yourself a wonderful weekend!

Autumn Birthday Cards

I pulled out a very old Spellbinder's leaf die and cut 2 leaves with some glittered green cardstock snippets I wanted to use up and made a couple of cards. I embossed a black strip of cardstock with a Darice Autumn leaves embossing folder and added 2 die-cut green checked panels on the sides by using a MFT notched border die. The sentiment is pre-printed from SSS and I added a twine bow to the leaf. I added some black Nuvo drops to the 2nd card just to add a little interest.

I'll share with the following challenges:

Fall is Here

Fall is "almost" here according to the calendar but right now it's very hot outside so summer will be around a little bit longer.
I've had this stamped image in my stash for quite some time, and finally pulled it out and colored it with Copics. I used a strip of fall designer paper on the side and embossed a panel of autumn-colored cardstock with a Darice fall leaves embossing folder for the main panel. The sentiment was heat-embossed with white on dark brown cardstock and I added 3 SU! embellishments to the bottom in autumn colors to finish this.

Autumn Thank You

I have an Autumn-themed card today made with some SSS Orange Peel and Lemon Chiffon cardstock. Sorry the yellow looks more like vanilla, but it's a beautiful pastel yellow color. I used a Poppystamps Tulisa collage to cut the panel on the front, adding a piece of orange behind it. The matching orange border was made with an EK punch, inserting gold-embossed negatives, and adding a narrow piece of brown ribbon. The sentiment is from SU! (r) gold-embossed on a piece of chocolate cardstock and I added orange, gold and yellow gemstones to finish this one with a little sparkle.

I took a photo from a different angle, but the yellow still looks like vanilla😏

I'll enter this into these challenges:

Autumn Leaves

I made this card for the Repeat Impressions challenge #N1820 with the following autumn inspiration palette

I used a snippet of torn striped dsp, along with a torn strip of gold embossed dsp, then stamped all the leaves in assorted colors on the gold-colored card base with Kitchen Sink Stamps. The sentiment is also by KSS embossed with gold on dark brown cardstock. The big leaf was die cut and embossed with a SB die with red mirror card and the final touch was a little bow made with SU! gold cord.

Wishing my US friends a wonderful Autumn weekend and for those celebrating other seasons across the globe, I wish you a wonderful weekend too! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Fall Y'all!

My favorite Sweet 'n Sassy Cocoa mouse is back again with a colorful autumn leaf to wish everyone a happy fall! I colored the image with Copics and used Wink of Stella for some subtle shimmer. The frame was done with a Gina Marie Designs die in orange, and the background was done with a Darice embossing folder. The sentiment is a companion to the image, die-cut with a MFT stitched circle and backed with a punched scalloped black border. I added 3 orange gemstones just for fun and a little sparkle. Gosh, fall is about to turn into winter as our clocks go back this weekend and ole man winter slowly awakes from his sleep! Time flies!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all enjoy a great day!

Sparkly Autumn Leaves

Autumn is just beginning here where I live in PA and it's my favorite time of the year. I love watching the beautiful tree leaves change color and enjoy the cooler, crisp air of the season. Today I made a card with some autumn leaves. I used Spellbinder dies to cut the leaves, sponging them with lots of assorted autumn-colored inks, then covering them with glossy accents and sprinkling on some GinaK glitter for sparkle. I popped them up on foam dots on a SSS Orange Peel piece of card that was die-cut with a GMD scalloped die, then framed it with a larger die cut from white. The background was a random piece of autumn themed paper I got from Tuesday Morning years ago. The sentiment is from SNSS.

I will enter this into the following challenges:

Tuesday Throwdown # 467 - make it sparkle

Dies R Us Challenge #154 -a/g using dies from their store (Spellbinders)

Thanks for stopping by and my wish for all of you is to have a healthy, happy day.
