A Warm Hello

I saw this Penny Black Die set called "What's in Your Cup?" made into a card on display at my local craft store, and just had to have it. I used Pacific Point card stock and dsp from SU! to put this together, adding 2 die-cut stitched ovals from Gina Marie Designs and a retired embossing folder from SU!. The sentiment was heat embossed with white and cut into fishtail banners by using a hexagon punch to make the angles. I added a silver heart-shaped brad in the center and used a heavy hand of Wink of Stella on the steam coming from the cup.

I will share this with the Penny Black Saturday Challenge for April - anything goes

It's a bit chilly here today with the wind whipping pretty good, so I might need another hot cuppa something to warm me up! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day whatever you do!

Carol

This is a great card, Carol. I love that bright blue c/s and the embossing folder you used. The coffee cup with steam is so pretty and I love how you added the stripe paper.

Your card looks great , Carol. Makes me want to have a coffee with Bailey's!!!I rarely drink as I do not like the taste of most, but Bailey's is a treat I save for Christmas and look forward to all year.
Now they have many flovours so the treat increases with your choice!

That's smashing, would make a lovely Christmas card or an Autumnal one. I do like how the embossed background echoes the snowflake on the mug and is teamed up so well with the sentiment x
