Sending Hugs

I have a friend who's about to undergo surgery soon, so I made this card to send to her. When I create a rainbow, I use the Lil Inker die to cut 4 different colors and then arrange 4 different strips together. Instead of throwing all those other pieces away, I create 3 more rainbows with each one being slightly different in color arrangement, then toss them in my snippet box for future use. Today was the day to use 2 of those pre-made rainbows on this card. The stitched clouds were also done with Lil Inker dies, adding some clear Wink of Stella for some shimmer. The background is a Lawn Fawn die-cut and the sentiment is a die cut from Pink & Main made with some soft blue shimmer cardstock. I should have used foam tape to pop up the bottom cloud but I may add a butterfly or a bird before mailing to cover up that bend in the cardstock. Oops! 😏

A very pretty rainbow card to cheer your friend. Spring started here yesterday with a very grey and wet day but there is a little bit of blue sky this morning and at least it's not so chilly as it has been recently

A card with a double rainbow is a big good luck for your friend, Carol, such great idea!! The word Hugs is just hugged by the rainbows! :) And the sweetness of the colours plus the cute sparling clouds and that awesome stitched panel are a so cheerful and lovely thought for her!!! Surely you will put a smile on her face!
I always forget to put some foam behind the less thick parts of my layered diecuts, and this is one of the reasons why I add a lot of bits &bobs to my cards... I have to cover gaps! LOL :D
Wishing you a very lovely spring full of flowers and warm breezes, dear friend! Here the trees are in bloom and it's time to put seeds and plants on my vegetable garden. So much to do and so little water: this winter had nor rained, so we fear a very dry summer... a real trouble for agriculture. Too much chemtrails, every day, change the weather in a few minutes. It's really shocking, anyone who looks at the sky for half an hour can see it!
Sending big hugs, prayers and love from my little and for now yet beautiful part of the planet!
