Hello Friend

While sorting through my overwhelming stash, I discovered this cute strip of retired bluebird dsp from SU! and decided to make a card with it. I found coordinating bits of matching blue dsp, some tan, some green and white and just built the theme around that strip of bluebird dsp. I used a SU! bird punch adding a touch of blue Copic color to the bird and giving him a tiny blue gemstone eye. The sentiment is by Tim Holtz.

I'm sharing this with the Snippets Playground #450 - which of course is to use snippets.

I was inspired by that cute little bluebird in it's nest

Thanks for stopping by and have the best possible day! One more day and Spring will be here!

Carol

A charming little bluebird card.
Once you've finished sliding down the slide, please come to the Treehouse for a natter over a mug of hot chocolate! x

Oh Carol, this card is so sweet! I love the bird punch and your papers! Perfect springtime card except today it's not feeling very springy out. I'm looking forward to spring arriving tomorrow and temps in the 50's! Stay warm today and enjoy what's coming this week! Hugs~

Your skill about using scraps of patterned paper with a few of diecuts to make fabulous cards is always stunning! How CUTE!!! Absolutely adorable and sweet card, and I have never thought that dark blue could be so cute instead that serious!!!
:D
Love so much the bluebird patterned papers you used, the wing of that adorable punched bird is a true catch-eye and the bird itself sitting on the branch with his gemstone eye is the cutest!
The banners finish the card perfectly. This is a winning for sure! :)
Have a lovely Sunday, dear Carol! Spring is behind the door and hope it will bring a bit of peace and serenity on our poor world.
Biggest hugs ever!

It's all so sweet! I have that punch and you've definitely inspired me to pull it out (although not the paper or I'd be copying you!)
