Happy Easter

Easter is just around the corner, so I need to get busy making cards for that occasion. For my first one, I used all snippets of designer paper and cardstock. The egg was made from a Simon Says Stamp die, while the bunny and his bow was done with Lil Inker dies. The strip of designer paper is unknown, while the notched border was made with a MFT die. The sentiment panel was made with 2 retired SU! punches and a retired (2009-10) SU! teeny tiny wishes greeting. For the final touch I added a tiny black pearl for the bunny's eye, and placed this all on a purple card base.

I'll share with these challenges:

the Retro Rubber Challenge #202 - A/G (stamps must be at least a year old)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy a wonderful day!

Carol

Wow! I love the rainbow colored Easter egg. Something I always tried to do as a kid, but never accomplished it. Thanks for sharing it with us at Double D Challenge. Hope to see you again.

I love the striped egg and cute bunny. It will be here before we know it and I haven't started any Easter cards. Need to get busy. Thanks for the kick in the pants.

As cute as can be! That little bunny is so precious with his tiny bow around his neck. I LOVE that egg die you used too - looks good enough to eat in the pastel colors. A fun and very pretty card for Easter!

So pretty, Carol!! Love the colors and that adorable bunny diecut! I think I may still have that die in my stash and since Audrey asked for lots of bunny cards I may have to go in search of him! Thanks for inspiring me! Love the colors of your Easter egg, too! Easter will be here before we know it!

How cute little stitched bunny with his tiny black pearl eye, and that egg looks so striking and cheerful! But you achieved to make an elegant card adding that linear notched border and the striped paper on the purple base, as always you have had a great eye for the design! Well done!!
Hope you are finally enjoying better temperatures, Spring and flowers are coming! Sending love and lot of hugs across the ocean, dear friend! Take care!
