Musical Poinsettia

I recently had a request to make a couple Christmas cards for someone, and this is one of them. I used a Spellbinders Poinsettia set of dies to create the flower, adding some yellow gemstones to the center. I embossed the background with a KaiserCraft music embossing folder and wrapped it with some retired gold SU! ribbon, then added a KaiserCraft die-cut Christmas sentiment from gold mirror card and called this one done!

I'll share this with the following challenges:

Let's Squash It Challenge #3 -  use any embossing folder and dies (or fussy cutting)

Make My Monday Challenge#137 - Christmas Themed Card

Thanks for stopping by during this busy time of the year and I hope you and yours are healthy and well.

What great dimension with your layered poinsettia, and then more texture with the embossed background. That is such a classic embossing folder and the whole card also looks classy for a Christmas card.

Very classy card Carol, surely the recipients have been delighted! That ribbon it's a super detail, it makes the poinsettia and the embossing just pop! I think that gold, white and red is a perfect combo for anyone at Christmas, well done!!

Lovely way to showcase the pretty poinsettia on a music embossed background, revokes memories of a more traditional time. The bold sentiment die cut looks awesome in gold tying it nicely with the ribbon. Great card as I'm sure the others are for your commission x

Oh Carol, this is lovely. The ribbon is so pretty and the gold sentiment picks up the gold in the ribbon. Beautiful poinsettia and great e/f. They will be pleased with this beauty.

This is another stunner, Carol! I may need to add one more poinsettia (!) to my stash! I don't have a die that does such a fabulous job of all the different petal sizes. It looks magnificent with the diagonal ribbon and musical background! Pinning! Happy Holiday Hugs, Darnell
