Here's the 2nd of 2 cards I made for a friend, and it's a wintry scene that I just love! I used a SU! softly fallen embossing folder along with Lawn Fawn stitched hillside dies for the ground. The little coupe was done with an unbranded die and I cut it from 3 different colors and added 3 red mini brads for the hubcaps and some liquid applique to the tree and ground beneath the vehicle. You can't see it in the photo, but I added gold Stickles to the tiny star on the tree top as well as the center of the largest die-cut snowflake. The sentiment is from PTI.
I will enter this into the Dies R Us Challenge #159 - winter wonderland
As I'm writing this, there is a major snowstorm happening where I live with an expected foot or more of the white stuff expected to fall throughout the night into tomorrow morning, so I'm living in a winter wonderland of my own. With heavy snows and high winds coming overnight, we will most likely lose power but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. If you don't see me around for a while you'll understand why :)
Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!
Carol

Beautiful card, Carol.
Hope you didn't lose your electric. Jim and I were scared our lights flickered a lot with the wind....but our electric stayed on.
A Beautiful card Carol, I love the car and added texture, a very wintery and beautiful card.
I hope your snowstorm isn't as bad as some I've seen on Youtube recently? I also hope you don't lose power, you gotta keep warm.
Keep safe
Faith x
Oh Carol, hope that all that snow falling down in your zone will not make damages and also hope you could have always the power!! I remember some photos made by you years ago, I was very impressed. Fingers crossed for you, my dear friend!!
Your card seems reflect your situation... snow snow and more snow :)
Fabulous card! Love the red vintage car, it's really catch-eyes and I enlarged the photo and can see the gold star on the tree and the centres of the snowflakes, as well the red mini brads, such cute details! Love the texture on the ground, too! A really striking card!
Stay safe and warm, please. Sending big hugs and blessings across the miles!
Beautiful card Carol, I love the layout of your design.
Fingers crossed you don't lose your power. xx
Super card. Love the view of the car, the snowy scene... just everything!
I hope you manage to stay warm and dry till the snow goes, I don't think we'll get any this winter but there's always hope.....
Oh, just pretty and cute as can be! Love the snowy scene with the red truck! We only have a couple inches of snow here. My thoughts and prayers for you and many getting all the snow...stay safe and warm!
Oh heck, you got snow again... boo hoo send some my way, I hope it makes everything look pretty in a drab year. Your card is super and the best bit, the little beads for hub caps... so adorable. It's so nice to put the scene one side and the sentiment the other for balance and who doesn't love a Christmas tree full of freshly laid snow x
Thank you, Carol, for letting me know you received my Christmas card. I hope you do case that Ugly sweater card! I would love to see your version of it. It was cased by me from Joan's card, who sent me all the supplies. I have learned a lot from her...but I have also learned a lot from you through all these years too. Thanks so much.
Perfect Christmas card Love the truck .......Lis
I love your wonderful winter scene card.
We had about a foot of the white crap up here and I ended up having the day off from work and I didn't make a single card. I'm kind of disgusted with myself. And then I saw this cute card with that cute little die and I'm getting the urge to make something again. Thanks for the inspiration!
I am loving this card. One of the best I have seen this year. Love the embossing folder you used. The little coupe is my favorite part of it. Thanks, for sharing.
Your scene is just wintry wonderful my friend! I love that darling red truck driving through the snow with the special tree to take home! The texture and snowflakes make s stunning card! Hoping you stay safe and warm dear lady! I love all the cards you make, but especially ones I can hold in my hand...seriously in awe!! HUGS
