I recently sent this card to a sweet friend so now I can share it here. I used the SSS sunflower stem die to cut the flower, using assorted snippets of cardstock and dsp to make the flower. The background dotted paper is from DCWV and the sentiment panel was die-cut with a Gina Marie Designs Venetian Label die, and stamped with a sentiment from SU!. I added a few golden gemstones to finish this one.
I'll share this with the Seize the Birthday Challenge #199 - use die cuts
We got to go for a nice drive yesterday and I love seeing all the sunflowers blooming in the country fields! This is such a pretty time of the year with all the autumn colors about to bloom!
Wishing you a happy and healthy weekend, and as always, thanks for stopping by ;)

Due to covid I couldn't get any sunflowers to plant but whilst at the garden centre collecting shingle I saw they had seed packets for next year so
I managed to buy several different varieties just in case the shops and centres all get closed down again in a second wave which I do think is going to come this Autumn/winter.
Your card is lovely . I do like to see sunflowers on a card. Hugs Mrs A.
This is so gorgeous Carol. What a pretty sunflower.
Beautiful sunflower, I do love the paper piecing with a die like this. That is something I don’t really do. That is a fun idea to go for a drive by the sunflowers, I haven’t done that this year. Hope your are well!
This is absolutely gorgeous Carol! I love the pattern with the papers within the die-cut as well as the background which gives it the look of a cross-stitched panel. Hope you're having a great weekend!
Beautiful background for the lovely flower She will love it ...Lis

How beautiful, I really like how you stamped the sunflower on patterned paper! We have a park here that plants Fields of sunflowers, it is just amazing to see and walk through.
This card was my favorite birthday card this year! I just love that pretty sunflower and how you inlaid different cardstock colors inside of the diecut! Your cards are always amazing, Carol! Thank you for thinking of me on my birthday! I love sunflowers! Hugs~

I love sunflowers! Great card, I wish I had the patience to assemble something like this!
I really love this flower die, sunflowers are one of my favorites. I too love seeing a field full of them, nothing looks so beautiful! Your birthday card is so happy and cheerful, that sun flower really pops on that background papers. Love, love, love! Glad you got out for a ride, it can really lift the soul to get out of the house a bit! Hugs, Brenda
Lovely die and gorgeous sunflower result Carol...For some reason your posts are not showing on my reader... xx
Very pretty card, Carol.
Oh, this is so pretty. I love the papers you used to make the sunflower. I'm glad you were able to get out and go for a drive. That would sure lift my spirits even if I didn't see anyone. Just the fresh air and getting outside is wonderful.
Love the beautiful paper pieced sunflower

Gorgeous paper pieced sunflower, love the mix of dp you've used and thankyou for playing along at Seize the Birthday, Cathy x
This inlay is just a delight, your choice of papers is the perfection to show the beauty of the sunflower! The paper for the back too! And such creative label for the sentiment! Fabulous card!
I'm in hurry (and in a big delay with comments, sorry) because of all my busy busy life. School in Italy is a non-sense with masks and a lot of fool organizations!
Big hugs, and take care of you both!
This is so pretty! Love the way you used DSP for the sunflower diecut! This is a challenge for m since I seem to be using mostly die cuts on cards lately!!
