The Twofer challenge #25 for March is spring animals, and I used one of those Tim Holtz bunny hop thinlet dies to make my cards.
I made the background with Nuvo shimmer dust and a SU! stencil, sponging violet, pistachio, & tumbled glass Distress inks, along with some white craft ink. I added a few black Nuvo drops before punching the corners with a very old SU! punch and adding twine to them. This card is on a purple card base, so I used purple/white and turquoise/white twines for the base and sentiment panel. The bunny was die-cut with a Tim Holtz Bunny Hop thinlet die, and I added a little bow done with a Lil Inker Bunny die and computer-generated the sentiment.
This spring card was done on some pastel blue shimmer paper, die-cut with a Gina Marie Designs die. I cut the SNSS grass border first, then adhered it to the blue panel and die cut it all together in one swipe. I sponged some clouds with white craft ink using T.E. stencils and die-cut a couple of stitched clouds from Lil Inker, covering them with Wink of Stella clear glitter. The bunny is also wearing a bow done with the Lil Inker Bunny die set, and I added a pink gemstone to the center, along with some light Copic coloring of the ears and whiskers. I added a tiny poof of cotton for the tail and used a SNSS sentiment, stamped onto 3 snippets of pastel card stock, cutting them apart to fit on the card.
Here's an angled view where you can see the sponged white clouds on the shimmer card stock background.
In addition to the Twofer challenge, I'm also entering this card into the
Double D Challenge which is "spring" and includes this mood board:
I'm also entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge -"Whatever the Weather"
Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone is adjusting to this new way of life in the midst of this ongoing crisis. Try to stay well and have a healthy rest of the week!

Two cute cards, Carol. Great way of using the rabbit die in two different ways. xx
The funny bunnies are back in bouncy business. I love these, they help create such a fun vibe and don't we all need that at the moment. I think its brill how you've created a sense of movement by chopping him in half on the first card... oooh-er missus lol. But wait, you gave him a proper fluffy tail on the second, fantastic. Stay safe x
