Birthday Sunflower Stem

While making this card recently, I was left with a black negative background which I decided to use to make this card. I like the black background with the yellow die-cut Mama Elephant scalloped frame. I used a SSS sunflower stem die and cut it from 2 shades of green, white, some water-colored yellow and a scrap piece of yupo water-colored paper that I embossed with a SU! square lattice ef. The sentiment is from SSS and I used a MFT fishtail flag frame to cut the sentiment panel.

That's another birthday card for the stash and I'm sharing this with the
Just Us Girls Challenge #527 - which is "black background."

There's just a touch of green in this card, but I'd like to wish everyone a happy St. Patrick's day today! I hope everyone is avoiding the virus and staying well. Thanks for the little visit.

This pretty card reminds me of barge art and that always makes me smile. It's very striking and I'm admiring your paper piecing, if I attempted that you can guarantee I'd loose the last piece then find it days later stuck to something lol x

I love that black background, it makes the flower just pop off the card. Lots of dimension, especially the leaves.
