Hello Autumn

I made this card to send to someone who's fighting a serious battle, and decided to go with an Autumn "Hello" theme instead of a get well sentiment. It began with the unbranded die cut in the center that I sponged with a combination of earthy colored inks. I placed it on a piece of vanilla that was done with a Tim Holtz burlap stencil and some Antique Linen ink and then cut it with a Lil Inker stitched rectangle die, placing it on some gold card stock. The Taylored Expressions "Hello" sentiment was die cut twice with Daffodil card and layered for dimension. The leaves were done with Lawn Fawn stitched leaf dies; inked and clear embossed and placed randomly. The larger leaf was a leftover snippet from an alcohol ink/Yupo project so it's a bit brighter in color than the 2 smaller ones.
Sorry the photograph doesn't capture these colors as they appear IRL. The gold tends to diminish all the other brighter colors regardless of how many ways I tried to alter or adjust them.

I'm sharing this card with the following challenges:

Dies R Us - a/g but must use dies from companies sold in their store (TE, LF)

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day whatever you do!

Carol

The stenciling and the die cut just go perfectly! Really nice fall card. I think it is nice and more appropriate sometimes to use a card like this instead of a Get well.

Carol, this is such a beautiful Autumnal design! That burlap stenciled background is really cool with your die cut pieces! Love the different colors in your die cut leaves as well! It's always hard to capture all the different details in a card from a photo which is why I find myself with more than one photo and long explanations in my posts! LOL!

It's really pretty my friend! Wishing you a fabulous weekend! :)
