March Rudolph Days

I have a masculine Christmas card to share today, made with a KaiserCraft stag head and some stitched ovals cut with MFT dies. I used a snippet of houndstooth dsp along with some caramel colored cardstock for the base and added a SU! sentiment on a snippet of white. My eyes play tricks on me when I try to focus on a straight alignment of the sentiment panel with this paper! LOL It measures straight, but appears off, so ?!

I'm sharing this with the March Rudolph Days challenge where you need to make a Christmas project and have it posted before the month of March ends. I'm on time this month but just barely!

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day whatever you do!

A very stately Christmas card! I often have that issue of optical illusions on my card when I use a patterned paper. I’m certain it is straight and wouldn’t have questioned it from the photo you shared!

Love this, Carol! I love the masculine, woodsy feel to that paper! I can see why it would play tricks on your eyes but I think it would look great no matter how you cut it! That deer finishes it nicely and with the perfect little sentiment! Well done! TFS and I hope you've been enjoying the nice sunshine we've been getting! :)

Fabulous masculine card love the stags head--I know just what you mean when you know full well it's straight and looks off---so annoying

I love that deer die and it looks so regal on the wall of your card.

Wow this is a brilliant masculine card! I can see it for other occasions as well! Love how you've place the sentiment on the deer head too! Always great to see your creations and catch up with you! HUGS

Papers like this can always play with our eyes Carol! lol But I so love houndstooth and I am loving this masculine card! I too have made a card, but need to photograph it and write up a post and I have to say I am being lazy, but best get on it!!! Hugs, Brenda

Isn't that stag's head so great for a guy card, Carol? Add it to an oval frame like it's over the fireplace hearth and that's all you need. Even better with some awesome houndstooth pp as a background!! Hugs, Darnell
