I finished my Easter cards so I thought I'd start with Mother's day cards and here's the first. I saw that the Dies R US challenge #117 is "One for the Ladies" so I decided it was time to use this Frantic Stamper Ladies Shoe die to make a card. I won this die by playing along in a previous Double D challenge.
I die cut the show and flourish from white and lawn fawn pink polka dot dsp, along with a snippet of SU! glitter paper. The card base is Lawn Fawn pink, the embossed background was done with a Tim Holtz Damask ef and the grey panel was done with a Nestabilities beaded oval die that I wove with some pink twine. The silver-embossed sentiment is from SU! and that's it! I'm going to try making another card like this because I'm not overly fond of the color combo. The grey is too dark for my taste, but it's all I had on hand.

Hey, no fair.. you're done with your Easter cards already, impressive :) What a killer shoe, I really like a grey and pink combo Carol so I think it's very pretty especially with added sparkle. I'd rock those shoes with a pair of jeans no problem lol x

Wow wow wow!!! Awesome and super feminine card!! A fabulous die cut with the glitter and the flowers! Amazing design too, that scallop panel with the twine makes the shoe pops so well and for me the grey tone is just perfect! The embossing looks fabulous too!! Well done!

Boy those were the days we wore high heels. Never that high but it does bring back memories. I would have loved to had these gorgeous shoes with all the sparkle. Very cute card. I love the twine woven through the mat.

I finished my customer order yesterday...now I need to get myself some Easter cards made to send out. I slacked on St. Patty's which I am still mad at myself for! Lovin this shoe with the glitter inset! That is one special peep-toe! The flowers make it super girly. Nice work. Congrats on that win.
