I went searching through my snippets box and found a few of the elements I used on this card. I made the background first using a Gina Marie Designs die, along with some sandy colored and vanilla colored glittered card stock. I inlaid the negative colors for contrast and ended up with 2 different backgrounds; one which I'll use for a future project. The vines were die-cut with a borrowed die from a stamping friend and I found all those little red bits (which were die negatives) to use for tiny flowers. The big pink and white flowers were gifts from my friend Alice all the way from Italy, and I added a big orange gemstone to the center of that. The hummingbird was done with a Cheery Lynn die and some red glittered card stock with some black Nuvo drops for the eye. The "hugs" sentiment was cut twice with black card stock and an Impressions Obsession die and layered for dimension. The tiny butterflies were done with a set of dies from Gina Marie Designs and some pastel blue glittered card stock, and I added a couple gemstones to the largest one.
