Halloween Matchbook Treats

I have lots of Halloween dsp left over from last year, so I decided to make a few matchbox treats for this year. Here is one of them with a Memory Box die-cut spider and I dotted his eyes with a white gel pen to make him creepier. When you open this up, here's what's inside...

The photo on the left shows the inside with the double-sided paper found at Tuesday Morning years ago. The Trick or Treat sentiment is by Lawn Fawn, and I added a little IO die-cut ghost that was embossed with Lawn Fawn glow-in-the-dark ep. The photo on the right is the inside of another matchbook that was made with SU! dsp, a Unity white-embossed sentiment punched with an EK ticket punch, and what these treats are filled with - a WAWA coffee thin! I wish I'd never discovered these wafer-thin coffee/chocolate bites of deliciousness because they are a bite of heaven!! If I enjoy them this much, I'm sure other coffee/chocolate lovers will too, so those are my treats for this Halloween. I'm grateful they are sold individually and NOT sold in bags, or I'd be in a sugar coma by now!

Here is the assortment I've made using all stamps, dies, stickers and elements from my Halloween stash. These are SO much fun to make and a great way to use up those little bits of dsp and cardstock too!

If you need any specifics for products used, just email me with your questions. My email address is on the sidebar. I used the Splitcoaststampers tutorial for making these.

I will enter this project into the following challenges:

Memory Box Challenge #42 - Halloween or Candy themed

LTCCB #27 - October Anything Goes

LTSCB #114 - Fall Back *make any fall creation*

Dies R US #106 - A/G using dies by companies carried at the Dies R Us store

Thanks for spending a few moments of your Monday with me, and I wish you a wonderful week ahead! Happy Crafting :)

Carol

Those are so cute. It makes me wish we got trick or treaters at our house. I used to make special sleeves for sticks of gum or little candy bars and when I did my shopping on Halloween I would give some to the clerks I visited with. I think they were tickled too.

Wowzer!!! :D A lot of wonderful treat boxes and filled very well with yummy coffee%chocolat wafers! :D And you didn't ate them all after buying, but saved the bars for your crafty creations! You has been so brave! :D LOL
These matching treat boxes are very fun and cute, and so different ones by the others! The papers are so beautiful and love the details you added, as the gel pen for eyes on the spider and the glowing EF !Well done!

Carol, these are way too cute! I love the variety of sentiments, embellishments and papers you used on these! I have never made a matchpack with the pocket inside but when I get my table this week I plan too! Now, I just gotta find something yummy for inside. I bet those Wawa Coffee Thins are good! I might have to see if Shawn can find them in Maryland...or take me! Haha! You have peeked my curiosity on them and you know how much I love my coffee! I love these! Thanks for sharing them! Hope you had a good Monday! Hugs~

These are so cute! I've never made anything like these before. I'm a minority I know.....but I don't like coffee! LOL So these treats wouldn't tempt me at all. Now if they were caramel filled chocolate squares?? That's a whole other ball game! ;-)
