CASEd Christmas Card

Last year I made this Christmas card, and I decided to CASE it and make another one for this year. I colored the Stampendous Santa image a little differently, and added a Unity sentiment along with a little touch of black this time around. The embossed panel was done with a Sizzix Snow Globe ef, and the card base is SU! Cherry Cobbler, with some matching Cherry Cobbler ribbon that's been long-retired. I just love this stamp and try to use it every year to make at least one card.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Craftyhazelnut's CHNC 407 - Christmas a/g - optional add a stocking

Happy Little Stampers Christmas challenge for October 2018 - anything goes with an optional twist of ribbon

MLCCB#3 - October Anything Christmas Goes

Thanks for stopping by and make it a wonderful week ahead.

Love both your cards, that original and this "CASEd"! This one is more delicate, even if the sentiment is most fun! :D Great embossing, it makes Santa pop out!!!

Never been a huge Santa fan but I've always loved this one for some reason?! He kinda could pass for Old Man Winter too?!! I've used him in none Christmas colors before with this in mind. A friend had stamped me images in the past to use but I picked up a stamp of my own for 75% off this summer at the Hobby Lobby big clear out our stamp section. Glad for the bargain but sad for the smaller crafting sections at the HL! Anyway great card and I can see why you cased it.

Love this Santa face (and think I have it too!) It looks so nice with the embossed holly background and the red & black additions. It's cute the way you did the sentiment (made me think of the old time Post Office posters!) and I like the way you've done the bow too! TFS & Hugs
