I've accumulated soooo many die-cut/printed elements through the years and just toss them into what I call my "doo-dad" box as I go along without using them. I decided to just sort through the box and pull out some elements and make something with them, and I came up with this gift card. I'd printed the Starbucks logo for a project a long time ago, so that's where this gift card holder started. I pulled die-cut white and kraft circles, along with a stitched heart die cut, and layered them all up on a die-cut circle that was cut from a herringbone background I'd made with strips of Coastal Cabana dsp. I pulled out the green and teal cardstock snippets and designed a gift card. Here is what it looks like opened...
The stamped sentiment panel was done with a Gina Marie Designs stamp and I added a couple strips of matching dsp and cardstock to dress it up inside. There is no gift card in the slot - just a piece of white card to show you how the card is inserted. I used the SU! word window punch to create the opening to hold the card.
I'm going to enter this into these two challenges ...
Pixie's Snippets Playground #337 - must use snippets
The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - anything but a card
Thanks for checking in and I hope your Monday is off to a good start!

Not a coffee drinker at ALL here but I LOVE this! I make plenty of coffee cards though cause so many others are. If I ever need to give Starbucks GC I'll remember to look online and print out the decal like that! So cool! This card is sure to make someone very happy!
Wonderful coffee gift card design.
That is just awesome, Carol! I just told my DD the other day, I would not know how to order something if I DID go there! LOL! I am too old school, I guess. Those doo-dad boxes sure do come in handy. They even spark our creativity! Nice job.
