It's been raining here in Eastern PA for the past few days, so I wasn't able to get photos of the cards I've been making, but this morning the sun peeked through long enough to get a shot of this card. I planned to enter it into a couple more challenges but they've closed while it's been raining - bummer!
Anyhoo, I began with a kraft card base, and stenciled some white pigment ink through a SU! stencil to create the bricks on the bottom portion. The sentiment die is by KaiserCraft and the leafy stems were done with Precious Marieke Leaves dies. The flower is by Prima, dotted with a Nuvo Glitter Drop in the center, and the little bee is by Lawn Fawn, colored with a glaze pen, a black marker, and some WOS glitter pen.

The little bee is so cute. I like this card with the white stenciling. I know how it is to wait for proper light to photograph cards. It can be hard!

I agree with Heidi, that bee is so darn CUTE! :) The stenciled background with the white over kraft looks wonderful with your design! I hated relying upon the weather to take my photos, so I took some poster board and made my own "photo box" and use an Ott Light lamp. Hope you can get a sunny day though! It's supposed to rain all weekend here too! Have a great weekend! HUGS

This is such a sweet pretty thank you card, the stencilled brick wall is a great backdrop especially on the Kraft. It's nice to see a Prima flower, they should make a come back :) x

Not sure if my comment came through, so will do it again. If you get double, just delete one Carol. I can't believe all the rain that came down! Lots of flooding in Lancaster and York. Thank God we didn't get all the rain that some got. I can't even imagine 9 inches of rain in 3 to 4 hours! We got dumped on, but it wasn't anything close to that amount. Hope all is well in your neck of PA! Your card is so pretty! I love the stenciling in white, it makes that bold thank you stand out. The blue prima flower looks so pretty against the kraft card base long with the white flowers, gotta love the bee too. Very striking card my friend. Shame the challenges were closed. Maybe next time. Pretty card, Carol. Yes, I think we have had more than enough rain for a while...(all we need now is some cooler weather. Don't want to go from Hot summer weather to Winter like weather... Hopefully, we have a nice fall!
