TMS #442

Hello Tuesday! Today my card is for the Tuesday Morning Sketch #442 and I've used lots of snippets elements to make my card. The little bird die was a gift from my thoughtful blogging friend Mary Anne and I die cut several of them in different colors, snipping the breast, wing and feet and adding those colored elements to the original bird. The dsp snippets were all from my stash, and the sentiment was done with a SNSS stamp. The greenery was a previously die cut stem and I snipped it apart to make tiny branches. The sun is a die from Lil Inker and the punched border was done with a SU! punch. The postage stamp die is unbranded, and it was cut from the same light grey cardstock as the card base. For the final touch I added some pink pearl pen droplets.

Tuesday Morning Sketches is offering a cute and fun stamp set for a prize this week and it's just in time for St. Patrick's day, so head on over there and check it out! While you're there, be sure to check out the cards from my DT too!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Carol

Love this spring card and love that bird Carol! Yes, this card lifts the soul as spring is really just right around the corner but old man winter is trying to hang on as long as he can. Love the bright sunny colors on this one and I just adore that bird and how you "pieced" him to get his colors. Love, love, love! Hugs, Brenda
