My generous friend Lynn sent me this cool die-cut Mama Elephant frame that I was drooling over when I saw it on her blog, so I couldn't wait to make a card with it. I started with a sponged background of Citron Distress Ink, then embossed it with a TH bubble wrap ef, adding splatters of wilted violet distress ink and TE enamel dots in lavender. The KSS bunny was stamped in a range of brown colors and fussy cut and partially hidden behind a piece of die-cut grass done with a SNSS grass die and colored a bit with a green Copic. The dachshund is a TH crazy dog stamp that I colored with Copics and fussy cut, popping him up on the outer portion of that cool die-cut frame. The sentiment is by Repeat Impressions and I fussy cut the speech bubble. The whole idea of this card will be familiar to anyone who's ever had a dachshund. They spot a rabbit or a squirrel and they run off chasing it before you can stop them - thus that funny sentiment that works perfectly for this card. LOL
I'm sharing this with the Inspiration Palette Challenge F 2118 over at the repeat Impressions blog.
I used the colors but opted to use no flowers.
Thanks for stopping by and make it a great Wednesday!
Carol

LOVE IT!!! So glad you could use the frames and you've put it to good use with this fabulous and fun card! Love everything about it!!!
....and yes, our little doxie, Rambo, DOES love to chase the squirrels. He's come close before but still hasn't mastered the art of catching one yet. Thank goodness!

OMGosh, how cute, Carol! Love, love, love that scallop/stitched frame! I can see why you were drooling over it! I love how you created the grass & bunny then added the dog & speech bubble! So funny! My dogs go nuts when they see a squirrel in their back yard so I can relate to this! Great job and I really love the scene you've created on the card! Too cute! :)
Such a fun little scene! Love the background and the way your framed things! So happy you linked this up to The House That Stamps Built!!

We can not say the word squirrel in my house. Jess (my lab) will tear down the front door! We have to say S.Q.. Very fun card, Carol. Love it! The color combo is great and so are the critters!
A brilliant card Carol, a super dog and great design.

This is fun and has great texture and dimension.
That scallop-stitched frame is really delightful and love the color you choose, too! It makes a great contrast with that bubbled green embossing! Fun TH crazy doggie with bunny, great scene!
It's very cold here, and seems that we will have a lot of snow! Gasp, it's very unusual for us!

I just think this is the cutest card design and those colors work great together. I can see why you liked that frame too. It is a nice one.
Ha love this, so cute and precious. Nice to receive goodies from bloggig buddies.xx💖 [aNNie' blog]

What a fun card! I like that frame too. Think a friend sent me some samples of that same one in White and/or Kraft but haven't played with it yet. I recently bought one of those bubble type punches for 75% off. Now to find or make cool sentiments like this one to use with it.
Aw, this is way too cute! Love that crazy dog and your background is wonderful...great spatters! Bloggers are so kind, aren't they, and Lynn is one of the best! Glad she was able to get you something you truly wanted and could use so well on this super card. (oh yeah, I liked that bunny too! :-) TFS & Hugs
Cute! And a great use of our color combo from this week's challenge! Purple and green always look so good together; and definitely say spring! Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.
This card just makes me smile Carol! I love the color combo's and I love this dachshund, he just cracks me up. lol Dachshunds aren't the only ones that take off after a bunny, squirrel or cat! Savannah is out the door and gone before I can even say stop! These bunnies really like to tease her and without Pocket's here anymore the bunny population has exploded. I guess I need to let her try and catch one but don't think she will be able too, but Pocket's could. lol Thanks for the chuckle today with this awesome card! Hugs, Brenda
Such a cute image! You've made a great card using it!
Oooo super and I'm not sure you couldn't wait to use the fabby frame - I so love the dog (in fact I have just bought this set) and the sentiment just made LOL, Luv Sam x
This is such a cute card Carol. The diecut frame works perfectly. Love how you brought the elements together for your scene and what a fun sentiment! Barbxx
