Reward!

Today I have a card for the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #31 - "J is for just kidding." This is a digital image by someone named Marlene who no longer blogs, but she shared lots of funny digi images that I still use. I paired this fisherman with an AI dog image, and added a row of mini punched fish. The dsp is retired SU! and the sentiment is one of those gems I borrowed from my friend Mary Anne. I sponged in some clouds and added a pawprint brad along with a brass mini brad. I added some white gel pen coloring to the fish, and dotted some eyes with a black marker.

Hoping you have a very happy Friday with lots of smiles and chuckles along the way :)

Carol

This is a fun card especially with that sentiment. Great sky work and I have to say those little fish look terrific gong across the bottom of the like, kind of like they are trying to get away from the fisherman so they don't get caught. I apologize for not commenting much this week, but I have gone through your blog and I love each and every one of the cards you did this week. The hero card is gorgeous and will be treasured by the hero that receives it. I love the cow card and like the way you slip up the sentiment. And you can't go wrong with hedgies and you really brought them out with the beautiful back ground paper you made. You've been much better than me at making cards this week that's for sure. Not sure how much I'll get on the computer next week either as we are babysitting my girlfriend's 16 year old Yorkie who is blind and partially deaf so I'm thinking I'm be spending most of my time watching him instead of in my craft room. Hope you have an enjoyable weekend.

Way, way too funny, Carol! I use to love Marlene's images that she shared. Maybe we can coax her out of retirement?

You're rocking the fishing themes lately! This card is a hoot. That look on the missing husband's face... priceless! Of course I want my dog back, he doesn't leave the toilet seat up and socks on the floor!!!
