Here's a tag I made for the Unity Be Inspired challenge going on this month. I used the following photo inspiration .......
I spotted the door in the photo and remembered I had this Unity Itty Bitty stamp called "shut the front door!" I used an old manilla file folder for the tag, embossed it with a bricked ef, and sponged Fired Brick ink all over it for a vintage look. I stamped the door image on another scrap of manilla folder, and fussy cut it, popping it up on foam tape. I added negative pieces from die cuts along with a little heart randomly around the door image. I put glossy accents on the windows, and red smooch on the lower door panel, along with some wine colored ribbon with silver cording. I punched some MS ferns in embossed silver and white and added a few red gemstones for the door spray. On the reverse side, I stamped "Merry Christmas from our house to yours."
Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day today!

Your door is so welcoming with the pretty white spray. Love that you used a manila folder to emboss the brick...very good idea! You'll have a lot of pretty tags for Christmas and I'll probably be using store bought ones as I haven't made any. Ugh!
Wow! So beautiful tag! What a clever idea you habe to make the wall cutting on an old manila folder! It looks great with the embossed brick inked!! The door is fabulous with its details!
That little door is so tiny and cute!!! LOVE the way you did the tag with the embossing and sponging. It really makes the focal point stand out. Very pretty tag Carol!

I'm telling you these tag ARE the gifts. Another great one today. Enjoy the day.
This tag and your previous one look great Carol.
Isn't Blogger being a nuisance at the moment? Everyone seems to be having trouble.

Oh my, I am loving this tag too Carol! Love your take on the inspirations photo, which is gorgeous! Hugs, Brenda
I thought your door was a die cut so the fact that it is stamp all fancied out is even cooler. Very nifty tag that is well done!
Brilliant idea to use the front door as your theme. Looks really good on the tag. I like all the different designs on it. Hugs Mrs A.
This is an adorable tag...and I love how you interpret these challenges. What you end up with always looks so much more impressive than the inspiration photo I always think. Love that manila folder in use here. Perfect as a brick background for your cute door. Great job on the inlay work too. That looks pretty tiny bits to replace. Off to enjoy the glimpse of the next tag I saw. TFS & Hugs.
