They're featuring Tim Holtz products, so I pulled out some TH hardware I've had in my stash for a long time! I started with a water color paper base and painted it with twinkling H20's. On top of that I stamped assorted images of leaves, but they got lost once I embossed the tag using a Tim Holtz burlap stencil. I added a black mini CL flourish, and an embossed Poppy dachshund image, adding a black gem for the eye. I tied the metal leaves on with gold cord, adding some thick jute and black twine to tie it all together.
I hope you enjoy this last day of summer as it quietly slips away into another autumn season. It really flew by didn't it?!

This is so cute, very different - love that background - now I'll have to get out my Twinkling H2Os as I haven't played with them for a long time. I love your flourish and the cute little dog too. Great metal accents.
Wow, you've packed a lot of color & texture into this tag. Really like the doxy sneaking onto the tag, and your stamped leaves are visible, but very subtly adding to the overall design. Colors & embossing are great! TFS & Happy week ahead.

This is a fun tag. You aren't kidding that the leaves got lost in the dry embossing. You made it work though.
What a pretty tag Carol! I love the colors in this tag, the little pup is too cute, love the flourish and the metal embellishment leaves. The embossing looks great and gives texture that makes you what to touch it. Hugs, Brenda
