A Brand New Grandmother

The Tuesday Throwdown #211 this week is "sweet little one." Someone asked me to make a card for a friend of hers that just became a first-time grandmother of a little boy and this is what I came up with.  I used bashful blue and white for the colors. The embossing folder is by SU! and the banner was made of "baby clothes" and banners done with SU! punches. I colored the neutral twine with a Copic marker to match the blue color. The little hearts and star were negatives from die cuts that I save in a tiny jar for embellishments on cards. The congrats sentiment is from SU!, while the Grandma sentiment is from Verve.

So there you have my 2nd post for today. Thanks again for stopping by and make it a wonderful weekend!!

This new grandma will be thrilled when she receives this one and will certainly not get any other card with as much love and care put into it. Hope you have a nice Sunday. Our humidity will not leave until Monday, so not doing too much at all tomorrow.
