I'm playing along with Darnell's NBUS #2 challenge which has a simple rule - use some "never-before-used schtuff." This time around she has 4 fun options which are...
1. Christmas
2. Make two cards using the same stamp
3. Both of the above
4. None of above
I chose option 3 and made two cards using a NBUS stamp that I won in a blog candy package from Mary H. a while back. It's by Stampendous and it's called Manger Scene. I embossed it with gold ep on black, and framed it with a gold embossed mat and put it on some beautiful red glittered dsp my friend Mary Anne shared with me.
This was done with silver embossing and put on some foiled green dsp. The sentiments on both cards were embossed and are from two different SNSS sets. These were both quick and simple cards to put together and now I have two more to add to my stash!
Come play along with Darnell and maybe you'll be one of her lucky winners! I was one of them for her first challenge and loved the prize I received!! I know you have some NBUS in your stash too, so what are you waiting for?! Jump in and have some fun! Go check out Darnell's fun blog and help her celebrate her amazing 600+ followers with another great challenge!

Carol these are just stunning...wow love the beautiful Christmas cards.xx
Oh, they're beautiful Christmas cards, Carol. I love the gold and the silver embossing and that's a wonderful stamp.
Two very nice additions to your Holiday stash of cards. I love both the red and green papers. So glad you are having a nice cool day today. We have to wait for tomorrow to get ours.
I have every intention of playing, but eek, it's back to work tomorrow. What a lovely Christmas stamp, and duo of cards. Please remind me about this stamp when I am in a panic near Christmas. Then may I please borrow it? LOL!
Both are beauties! I love that green foil paper with the silver. Such a gorgeous image that you won too. Love these!

Lovely Christmas cards! Like all the bling on your card! Isn't today's weather awesome? But you know it won't last long...
Isn't it so fun to see how the different colors and mats can change the whole feel of a card?! I think these are both excellent, Carol!! I keep scrolling up and down to pick a favorite, but it's impossible as they both sing with the Christmas spirit and each background paper is marvelous in its own way!!
Thank you so much for playing in and promoting my second NBUS Challenge!! Hugs and Mwah! Darnell
Two beautiful festive makes using NBUS Carol. Top marks!
Thank you for your sweet comments on my workshop cards earlier.

Beautiful cards Carol for Darnell's challenge! I love that stamp and how wonderful that you have 2 more cards to add to your stash!! Now I have to get on the ball and get something done myself. lol Hugs, Brenda

Two lovely cards, and it made me feel happy to see it was a NBUS that I shared with you! I knew you'd make something wonderful and you certainly did. Loved the backgrounds on each one, and 2 more for your stash. I hope I can do the Christmas part of the NBUS, I managed to get 2 'regular' cards entered. TFS & Big Hugs
Gorgeous cards in both silver and gold, hard to say which is nicer. They look so simple to make.
These are stunning! I love the metallics - super elegant. Sorry I'm so behind in visiting! I need more fingers & hours in the day :)
Beautifully embossed cards! Love the sheen on the metallic cards :)
Love both the cards - the color change really changes things up. I love this challenge and need to join in! Great cards Carol. Hugz!
Your two takes on the same stamp are beautiful. These are my fave type of Christmas cards...and my Mum always ways it isn't a Christmas card if it does not depict a religious theme.
I dare not mail her anything else!
Your cards have such a lovely sheen from the embossing and the stamp is divine...no pun intended!
Wow!! These are both so Elegant and Festive Miss Carol! Love the gold and silver embossing and the sparkly BG's too! Just Beautiful! 8-)
Hugs
