HMFMC172

Here's my entry for the HMFMC#172 challenge to use punches or dies. I used SB square dies to cut the image panel and little red squares in the center of the stamped background by Stampendous. I hardly ever use the smallest square in the set of dies, but these diamonds were screaming for something in the center, so I added a couple little pops of red. The image was colored with Copics, while the hat was colored with a blender pen using Pacific Point ink. The card base is also Pacific Point. I kept it clean and simple this time and with all the action in the image, I didn't think a sentiment was necessary.

Thanks for checking in and I wish you a great day ahead!

(on a side note, Blogger isn't playing nice with me and it won't load my reading list, so if I haven't been around to comment - that's why. It doesn't appear to be showing any improvement today either, so please don't think I'm avoiding you! If and when "Flubber" starts working again, I'll be around.)

CUTE card! I love Pacific Point card stock and love this image against it. I don't think I've ever used the tiny squares either! Thanks for that idea. Love the background you used and the card is fun and cute!

Wow! A very cool card and I know what you mean about not using the smallest die in the set. But, these diamonds were just perfect.

Oh, I could scream about our reading lists missing. I was just hoping I'm not missing anyone, either. I went to the help section on Blogger yesterday and saw many complaints. Hopefully, it will get fixed soon. This makes things very hard and time consuming.

What a cute ballplayer. Just reminded me that I have this stamp - somewhere! NBUS. That wild paper is so cool, and your idea of adding the pop of tiny red squares was inspired. Great card & this lil pitcher's pose says all that needs to be said!!! TFS & Hugs too.

Love this card...in fact, You will know that this is true...because the last time I visited OUR favorite scrapbook store I purchased that stamp, and I had picked up that background to go with it. (but I had already gone over my limit of what I wanted to spend so I put the background stamp back...but now I wish I hadn't...oh well...next time.

You did a fantastic job with this cutie. It's so nice that you can match the hat with the paper in the SU colors. Nice use of the smallest squares. So glad you could play along with us here at House Mouse & Friends this week. Have a fun evening.

Blogger hasn't been sending me emails for the blogs I've email subscribed to either... so whatever... that's usually the word with Blogger "whatever." Love your card with all its action. You rocked it putting the snip of red in the middle of the diamonds.
