An Old Ford

Here's my card for the Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge #253 and the twist is to make a masculine card. I used a Crafty Secrets stamp set for the image and sentiment, coloring with Copics and adding Soft Sky dsp and cardstock. The card base is Bazzill, and it's blue-grey in color. The twine is from Lawn Fawn, and those Candi dots are shiny silver, although they didn't photograph that way. It's very gloomy here in PA today, so this was the best photo I could get!

Since my husband has been a devoted Ford man all his life, this is going to be his father's day card. He has a soft spot for all those old Fords, so I'm sure he'll like this one!

I'm also entering this into the Snippets Playground #128 with the snippets of dsp and card stock I used here.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!

Carol

This is a really neat card. Your hubby is going to love this. I had a Ford too (for 20 years) My Ford Mustang convertible. Jim called it my Fix or Repair Daily car!
Buy, hey it lasted 20 years!

What a gorgeous card. I've seen several different old card stamps, but this one takes the cake! I mean, the motor oil!
