I'm back with my 2nd post today. Scroll down for some exciting news on the previous post. The Memory Box butterflies were die cut with pearl white and black card stock and layered on a SNSS scalloped border die, as well as a SB labels 18 die. The ribbon was from my stash. For the background, I stamped some daffodil cardstock with a SU! retired weathered stamp in Versmark, then heat embossed it with white pearl ep. The sentiment is from MFP, and the candi dots are from SU! in basic grey. I'm entering this into the following challenges:
Tuesday Morning Sketch #251 - I followed their sketch
Cards in Envy - Winged Things (card must fit an A2 envelope with no thick embellishments)
Shopping our Stash #153 - Background Check (stamp your background)
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes
The Card Concept #11 - a Color Challenge to use black, yellow, white and grey
This card was made for the Butterfly Challenge #8 which has a Bingo grid to follow. I used the top left diagonal line to use Pink, Butterflies, and dry embossing. I used a Darice corner butterfly ef, and just added my own butterflies on top of the embossed ones in 3 shades of pink, using 2 different Punch-A-Bunch butterfly punches. I added some tiny black gems to each butterfly, and a SU! salutation, and this card was done!
Thanks for stopping by again and I hope your Friday is going well!
Carol
