Blue Flowers and a Calendar Page

Welcome to my blog and the month of March. Today I'm sharing another fantastic calendar page my friend Heidi sent me for Christmas. She started this blog with me way back when, but no longer has time for blogging. I'm glad she still finds time to make incredible things like this calendar! {{Hugs}} and thank you's Heidi! Aren't those boots on the cow hysterical?! LOL

I posted this card over on SCS yesterday. It's a combination of two challenges - the F4A106 to use blue flowers, and also for the QFTD102 -StampingQueenJar {Judy}. Here is her card that I cased. I used PTI Enchanted Evening and SU! Bashful Blue card stock, embossing with the SU! Petals A Plenty ef, and using the SU! Carte Postale stamp et. I used Nestabilities squares for the images, and just added 1/8" to the size and hand-cut the mats. The tag was done with a Cricut, and the sentiment is by SNSS, and ribbon is also Bashful Blue from SU!
While I had that stamp set out, I used a different flower image from it and made a 2nd card, using the same card stock colors, only adding some old olive in the mix. The stamps were colored with markers before stamping. This time I used SU! punches for the images and added some piercing. I still have these colors out on my desk, and I might make some more cards with them before I get tired of looking at them :)

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you all a wonderful weekend. Can you believe the clocks get turned ahead next weekend already? Time flies by so quickly anymore!!

Wow, look at all the pretty things you are sharing today! The calendar page is incredible. Those piece for the roof took some time to punch, the embossing, and of course adorable cow! Super cute and how fun to get something like that from a friend. I also love the 2 cards you made. The colors and stamps are very pretty!
