Thinking of You

I had some remnants of a Pebbles paper pad I wanted to use up, so I created this thinking of you card. The sentiment was a printed one that came with the paper pad, so I die-cut it with a stitched square and placed another stitched square behind it. The vertical panel was made with strips of papers from the pack placed side-by-side and I added a die-cut scalloped border on the side. The background was embossed with a Cuttlebug Swiss Dots ef and I added 2 matching enamel dots from Taylored Expressions to complete this card.

I'm sharing with:

A/G Embossing with a twist of squares and/or circles

the Allsorts Challenge #796 - Things that Fly or A/G
I went with the A/G option

the Double D Challenge - use Patterned Paper

Thanks for taking the time to visit. I wish everyone a great weekend!

Keep smiling 😊

Thinking of You

While purging more of my huge crafty stash, I came across a pack of colorful matching cardstock and envelopes I purchased at Michaels perhaps a decade ago and decided it was high time to use them. There are colors of green, blue, pink, and lavender and since purple is my favorite color I pulled out some purple snippets and made this patchwork design card. The sentiment is a very old (r) SU! image stamped in Grape Jelly ink and die-cut with a Lil Inker stitched rectangle die. The little butterfly was done with a punch and I added 3 tiny lavender gemstones to the body and hand-drew the antennae with a black marker.
I already dropped this in the mail to someone who is fighting a health issue and wanted her to know I'm thinking of her and sending up prayers.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great Tuesday!
