Easter Treats

I made a lot of Easter treats again this year and actually forgot to take pictures of all of them before they were handed out, but here are a few that I did get photos of.
First up is this little box done with retired SU! designer papers and a bunny made with Lil Inker dies.

Here's another version done in pink colors. I added an eye with black Nuvo drops.

Here are both boxes with the treats I put inside. I have 2 friends who just love these shortbread cookies and prefer them over candy.

Here is a small sampling of the many bunny boxes I made this year. Just out of range in the photo on the left is a Lindor Truffle candy which I added to each box
I used spring-themed designer papers and cardstock to make most of them and added die cut bunnies done with Gina Marie Designs small bunny dies. The boxes were made with a Lawn Fawn tiny gift box die and I added a tiny scalloped circle to each box. I had a whole stack of those scalloped circles already cut but I'm not sure which die I used to cut them. Just to make them sparkle a little, I added either a gemstone or pearl to each one.
I like to give these out to the employees at my local small grocery store, cashiers, and bank tellers every year along with other unsuspecting recipients just to see that little smile when someone is surprised with a little treat! I made quite a few others and filled them with jelly beans or Easter M&M's for the kiddos.

Summer Paradise

I have a big paper pad of black and white dsp I bought for a song, so I pulled out a piece of text paper and decided to ink it up with some distress inks by sponging randomly until I liked the result. I had a play with a Cheery Lynn French Lattice die using some GinaK blue raspberry cardstock to make the coverall for the sponged text dsp. I stamped a SNSS image on white, and paper pieced the umbrella with some of the sponged text dsp, then colored in the rest with Copics and markers. The image panel was cut with a MFT stitched circle die, while the yellow mat was die-cut with a GinaMarieDesigns stitched square. I have an old set of wooden stick stamps with a summer theme, so I added a little pineapple cocktail to the chair, and some flip-flops to the sentiment panel that were both colored with glaze pens. I had a large piece of sponged paper left, so I made a matching envelope flap to mail this card in.

I'm entering this card into the Use Your Stuff #267 challenge which is to use warm, summery colors.

Thanks for stopping by and have yourself a great Friday!

Birthday Rose

Today I have a birthday card with a Penny Black rose image that I stamped with Melon Mambo, then colored over it with Copic markers. After coloring, I covered the entire panel with Versamark ink, then heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder to make the colors pop. It was die cut with a GinaMarieDesigns stitched oval, then matted with a black SB scalloped oval. The background was done with a WeRMemoryKeepers 3D Gemstone next level embossing folder with some pastel pink cardstock. The sentiment panel was done with a TE stamp - heat-embossed with white and hand-cut into a tag, then attached with a small white mini brad. The butterflies were done with a retired SU! butterfly sizzlet and 3 tiny pink gemstones were added for the final touch.

I'm sharing this with the following challenges:
