Stamp Something!

I LOVE this Parisian Breeze dsp and can't seem to get enough of it! Once I make a card with it, I often end up making a 2nd card, which is the case today. The Stamp Challenges blog posted a sketch challenge today and as soon as I saw it, I visualized the image with this fabulous dsp. Everything is matted with Chocolate Chip and the card base is Kraft. The corner was die cut with my Quikutz and the little dots were made by punching some Baja Breeze cardstock with a paper punch, and adding a drop of liquid glass from CTMH. The corner just needed something to balance things out. You can always click on the picture for close-up details.
Thanks to the ladies over at the stampchallenge blog for this great challenge and thanks to everyone for stopping by. Have a wonderful Friday!

Stamp Something Challenge - Green- March 13, 2009

To see all the detail, please click on the picture. So hard for me to explain exactly what I've done.
Howdy! This is for the Friday the 13th, Stamp Something Challenge, to create a card using green. I needed a Birthday card for a BIL, so green was a perfect choice. I used SU set Voila, and first stamped on the checkered designer paper, for the chef's coat and cut out, then stamped again on the green/black designer paper that made up the pants, cuffs, and scarf, and again cut out. I stamped another hat in white and cut out, popped it up. The platter was done by powder embossing the gold, on copper metallic paper, and popped up. Stamped the cake from a Penny Black stamp, the watercolored it, added stickles, cut it out and popped that up also. Then just assembled everything. The card stock is SU mustard, and old olive DP. Saying is a Stampabilities stamp and added a felt flower brad, in olive green. Voila, a Birthday card! This was such a fun challenge, thanks for letting me play! I have also posted it to my SCS gallery, hope this time it stays put! InMattiesMemory

Something Green

I made this card for the Stamp Something challenge, which was to make something green. I used some retired cardstock and dsp for this, Apple Cider and River Rock. Heidi sent me the stamped image and I just colored it. The birthday sentiment is from G Studio, and the circle "for you" is done with stickers. After I punched the circle I realized the dot formation reminded me of a baseball, so this card is perfect for a little boy! Geo Sparklers were used to accent the corners and dot the "i" in the word birthday. Thanks for stopping by :)
