You...

I had a request from someone to make a snarky card so I took his suggestion and came up with this one. The bull image is from Lindy's Stamp Gang and I colored it with Copics, and die-cut it using a MFT stitched circle die. I added a few random negative hearts left over from previous die cutting, and matted it with a die-cut Spellbinders scalloped circle die cut in Smoky Slate. The papers are from the grey collection of Recollections and the red horizontal borders were done with a MFT border die, given to me by a very thoughtful and generous blogging friend. I'm sorry I don't know the name of the die - I couldn't find it on the MFT website, but I love the masculine look of it. The word "you" was done with my Quickutz manual die cutter and the 3 dots were done with a small hole paper punch. The inside says "Make me horny." LOL

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Little Red Wagon #440 - Old MacDonald - use farm animals

Dies R Us #94 - anything goes but must use dies

2 Crafty Critter Crazies #13 - must use a critter on your card

Repeat Impressions DCC44 - all creatures great and small

Thanks for stopping by and keep smiling :)

Rowdy Reindeer

When I saw this recent release from Lil Inker called "Rowdy Reindeer" I jumped right on it and ordered the set. I make cards for a local store and there are a few customers who snag the snarky cards right off the shelf, so I thought this would be a big hit. I would imagine there are folks all over the place who would get a good chuckle out of a card like this! LOL As if the outside isn't funny already, check out the inside sentiment...

I could not stop laughing when I saw this :) I also got the matching die for Rowdy and the stamp set includes lots of cute faces you can stamp, but I chose the one with him sticking out his tongue :)

I had so much fun making this that I made another card using the same retired DSP from SU!....

The colors are pool party and island indigo with some basic grey on the first one, and those little ornaments on the bottom were done with a retired SU! punch and covered with Nuvo glitter. I used a silver paint pen to cover the tops of them.

I'm sharing with the 2 Crafty Critter Crazies challenge #8 which is to use any critter on your creation.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your Friday includes a few good chuckles and smiles :)

Halloween Full Moon

Sorry folks, I couldn't resist sharing this card! LOL My stamping buddy generously loans me this image and sentiment stamp often to make cards for Halloween. There's no name on them and I believe she bought them at a trade show but they are gems aren't they? LOL I used snippets of cardstock from my stash for the glittered goo border (MS punch), sentiment panel, and scalloped die-cut circle (SB), white the image panel was die-cut with a MFT stitched circle. I added stickles to the top border, colored the image with Copics, heat-embossed the sentiment panel with white ep and stamped some tiny bats with a stick stamp by Judith. The final touch was to add 3 gel stickers to the bottom. I'm thinking now I should have added a tiny red heart tattoo to her butt! LOL

I'm sharing this with the Double D Fright Night challenge and I hope they won't toss my card from the links for being too raunchy :) A good laugh never hurt anyone, right?

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day in spite of the date on the calendar (gulp)

Crappy Day

I had a request to make some snarky cards and I always aim to please, so this is one that I made. LOL I borrowed a Unity stamp set to make this crappy day card. I was playing around with distress inks some time ago and used too many colors on a piece that became too muddy to use. I saved it anyway, and as it turns out, it was perfectly appropriate for the theme of this card! LOL I colored the images with Copics and fussy-cut the roll of toilet tissue, placing it on a MFT stitched die-cut circle. I used a card base of textured off-white cardstock and sponged it randomly with 3 different brown distress inks to add a little more "crappiness" to the card. The inside is R rated and says "Sometimes you're the paper, sometimes you're the ****."

I'm sharing this with the Shopping Our Stash SOS#322 challenge which is "Not your Momma's Card!" (make an inappropriate card)

Keep smiling and I hope you have a great day and not a crappy one :)
