Thank You Card

 I needed to make a thank-you card so I pulled out a big black and white paper pad I bought a few years ago and made this card. All the papers are from that huge pad and I used a Lil Inker stitched diagonal die along with a die-cut Gina Marie Designs Venetian Label for the TE die-cut THANKS. I added 3 sparkle stickers randomly although you can only see one on the black panel

Thank You Card

 I'm burned out from making Christmas cards and treat boxes, so today I wanted something bright and colorful to change my mood. I found a great sketch that inspired me to make this card. Since we've had no sunshine for several days and won't have any for several more, I added some bright colors to cheer myself up from these gloomy rainy days.

I had a snippet of mint green cardstock that I embossed with a WRMK gemstone embossing folder and also had a snippet of turquoise cardstock with which I die-cut the ticket sentiment panel along with a strip to divide the 2 panels. I used an ARTplorations broken glass stencil along with assorted Distress inks to create the panel on the right side. The sentiment was stamped at a friends house years ago and I added a tiny red heart brad and called this one done.

Silver and Blue Christmas Card

 I will try to get a better photo of this card at some point because those mirror silver medallions look more like gold, but they are bright silver and  hard to photograph. The mirror silver was cut with Spellbinder's circle dies. Each center has a blue glittered snowflake done with a die from the retired SU! Pillow Box die set, and each snowflake has a matching silver brad in the center. The embossed panel was done with a Darice snowflake ef and the designer paper is a snippet I found in my overflowing box of scraps. I cut two narrow strips of the glittered blue paper and edged the embossed panel with them to tie everything together. The sentiment is from SU!'s Teeny Tiny Wishes which was released in 2009-2010.

Give Thanks

I recently had to treat myself to this cute set of stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn so I made a card using some of their fun flannel plaid designer paper to make this card.

I stamped and die-cut the images, coloring them with Copics and adding some wink of stella to the cheese just for fun. I added the plaid strips to a piece of kraft cardstock and added everything to an ivory card base. I thought those mice were just too cute to pass up so I added the set to my stash.

Sketch Card

 I played along with the Sketch Saturday Challenge and made a birthday card using snippets of cardstock and designer paper. 

The small piece of blue cardstock was in my snippets bin so I die-cut it with a HoneyBee stitched square die, then added a white stitched die-cut circle done with a MFT die. The sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy. The banners and bow were white cardstock snippets that I colored with fluorescent Copics and cut with a set of Sizzix birthday dies. I've had that piece of Best Wishes dsp for eons. I bought it when I first began making scrapbooks in the 8x11 size, so it felt good to finally put some of it to use. The final touch was adding some color coordinated gemstones from Gina Marie Designs.

We escaped all those torrential downpours and heavy thunderstorms so I'm feeling extremely fortunate. Some folks were not so lucky and got hit hard. Hopefully today will be a better day for everyone.

Baby Boy Card

Today I have a masculine baby card that saved those precious snippets of Lawn Fawn plaid patterned paper from the trash bin. I die-cut 3 stitched squares using a Gina Marie Designs stitched square die set and added 3 white sailboat diecuts from Impression Obsession. I placed them on a white panel, matting with Cool Caribbean and Island Indigo cardstock, then did the background with a SU! square lattice embossing folder. The "Baby" die is from Cottage Cuts and all of those sapphire gemstones are from Pizzazz Aplenty, The twine was from my stash.
