Happy Dancing!

As soon as I saw these bunny dies from Tim Holtz, I knew I had to have them because they just made me happy! I die-cut 3 of them from snippets of rust-colored card stock and just grinned as I thought how silly they look but how fun they are at the same time. They just reminded me of someone doing a happy dance, so I went with that thought and made a birthday card. I used a SU! stencil and Tumbled Glass ink to make the background clouds, giving these guys a serious lift from the ground below. Next I used a grass die to ground them with a little bit of greenery. The stamps are all from Casual Friday and the final touch was to add a few aqua Nuvo drops for a little sparkle. I matted this with a piece of Soft Sky card stock.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Pink Valentine

I found this black die-cut heart in my box of snippets, and with Valentine's day just around the corner I decided to make a card with it. It's a die bought from Ebay and I placed a heart on the top right that was cut with a SU! framelit die and some SU! glittered card stock. The card base is Lawn Fawn pink, and I embossed it with a brand new Sunny Studios quilted hearts embossing folder. The ribbon is from Walmart, and the little tag was done with a very old retired SU! stamp, colored with a glittered pen and layered with SU! retired large and small tag punches. I added a little twine bow to the tag just for fun.

I will enter this into the following challenges:

Tuesday Throwdown TT448 - use something new (embossing folder)

2020 Calendars

Here's a small sampling of the calendars I made this year; each made with half a sheet of card stock and lots of snippets. The template to print this calendar can be found here. I added some die-cut butterflies to this calendar I made for a friend who enjoys sitting on her patio watching them fluttering from flower to flower in the warm weather. I sparkled them all up with Wink of Stella.

I'll enter this into the Not Just for Cards Challenge for December - a/g

Here are 3 more. I made each one different, some with birds for the ladies, and some with big die-cut numbers for the men. For some I stapled on the tear-off months and others were attached with brads. Click the photo to enlarge for details.

Two of these have snippets of DCWV designer paper with tiny numbers in the background which I thought was perfect for a yearly calendar.

Here are some colorful ones done in pastels.

The one on the right was made for a neighborhood fellow who enjoys being outdoors in winter time.

As this year winds down, my wish for all of you is to have a happy and healthy new year in 2020. Thanks to each and every one of you who takes time to stop and leave a comment. If you find a little inspiration here, I'm grateful! I know I find lots of inspiration when I visit all of you as well!
Thanks for stopping by and have yourself a great day!
