While looking through my stencil collection, I pulled out this Dina Wakley "jungle stencil" and used a snippet of white card to make the pattern along with some green ink. I matted the panel with black and placed it on an embossed panel of white card stock from SSS {I LOVE this embossed cardstock!}. The dragonfly was made with a die from GinaMarieDesigns, and I colored it with some very old paint cups - I think they might be called Twinkling H20's. After it dried, I covered it Versamark ink and then heat-embossed it with clear ep to add a bit more sturdiness and shine. I still wasn't satisfied, so I went over it with a clear Wink of Stella pen and then finally decided it had enough shimmer and sparkle!
I heat-embossed the SSS sentiment with white ep on some MFT die-cut labels and finished this with a few black Nuvo drops.
I'm sharing this with the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - use some green
As You See It challenge #221 - preferences (favorite cards to make - for me it's birthday)
Seize the Birthday #185 - topping - a touch of green
CAS Stencil March 2020 challenge - use heat embossing

Thanks for stopping by and have yourself a great weekend!
Carol
