Happy Mother's Day

I was looking through my Sunny Studios paper pad the other day and decided to make a patchwork card with some left-over pieces I had from other projects. I placed the pieces on a pretty lavender card base and added a die-cut sprig of flowers done with a Darice die, cutting the flowers and centers from more snippets found in this paper pad. I just love the pretty spring-like colors and patterns for a Mother's day card. I added a heat-embossed white sentiment panel on black done with a SU! Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp and finished this with a pink twine bow.

I'll share this with the Cardz 4 Galz challenge #198 which is Mother's day -
or flowers for a friend

Also sharing with the Allsorts Challenge # 727 - April showers bring May flowers - or  A/G

Wishing you a happy start to the new week and thanks so much for stopping by as always.

Carol

I've had a nice catch-up, Carol. You are making such pretty spring cards and this one is ideal for Mom's Day! I saw your post about spam comments. It happened to me about a week ago, too. All mine were from old dates and I didn't have the energy to see if they actually WERE posted and these were just some kind of duplicates or what. I just deleted them all. Also, when I was away in Denver, I suddenly got about 20 emails from Blogger saying (title) had been deleted because it breaks the rules. What rules? The thing is, they were posts from 2013! WTH? I just ignored them, but I was prepared to wake up the next morning with my whole blog deleted. Thank God that didn't happen! They wear me down. I wish they would spend time and energy on bringing back Feedburner and not fiddling around with posts from ten years ago! Sorry to vent, but at least you know you aren't alone, she says, shrugging her shoulders. Love, Darnell

Very pretty card - using scraps from the same paper pad is such a good idea as they look good together as a rule.
