There's a New Challenge in Town!

There's a new challenge in town called the "Triple B" which stands for birds, blooms, and butterflies. I've been asked to guest design for their first challenge, so I'm honored and glad to accept the challenge. Below is the mood board which you can use for inspiration. You don't need to use all 3 but you must use at least one of them. I used blooms and butterflies but oh my goodness, those birds are just precious in pastel colors!

Someone sent the die-cut frame to me a long time ago so I have no idea who makes it, but I decided to finally use it. I pulled out some pink cardstock and a snippet of some soft checked designer paper that worked with the pink card base. I used a PoppyStamps Sweet Pea die and cut it from green and white, coloring in the white flowers with Copics. I added 3 tiny butterflies done with a very old SU! die, and added a pretty pink gemstone to the center of each one. The sentiment is from SU!'s Teeny Tiny Wishes and I die-cut the card base with a Lil Inker stitched rectangle.

I hope you'll join me in playing along with this fun new challenge which you can find HERE. Click the link to learn how you can play along too.

Thanks so much for stopping by and make it a crafty day!

What a pretty card and in my colors to boot! I love that frame and happy you used it Carol, it's to pretty to be sitting in a box unused. I really love the flower, I'd never would have thought to cut it out in green and white and then color the white pieces for the flower. So pretty! Love the gingham background and the sweet little butterfly. Congrats on being asked to guest design, they found a good one to do so! Yep, I am loving those sweet little pastel birds too from the mood board. LOL Too sweet, too cute! Hugs, Brenda
