Christmas Bluebird

I used a MFT stamp set to make this card. Some parts of the country and world don't have snow and cold weather for Christmas, so I made this one keeping that idea in mind. I made the soft clouds with T.E. stencils and some Tumbled Glass Ink, then colored the bird and holly branches with Copics, adding some glaze marker red accents to the little Santa hat and the red berries. I'm longing for warmer weather and I guess it shows in this Christmas card. My husband's niece recently moved to Florida so this will probably be heading her way later this year.

Entering this into these challenges:

Peace on Earth Christmas Challenge #34 - A/G Christmas with an inspiration board

the February Stencil Fun Challenge  - A/G using a stencil *Optional - Hearts

That's it for me for now, but thanks for stopping by and have yourself a wonderful day!

PS: I saw this sign on a local business recently:
"My wife and I agreed today we'd both be cremated, so she made me an appointment for next year." 😄
This business changes their sign every few weeks and sometimes they're pretty funny. I'm glad people still have a sense of humor to bring smiles to others.

Carol

Such a cute Christmas card, Carol! I never thought about that where some have winter weather and some do not. I will have to remember that as my best friend's son lives in Florida! He is like my 2nd son! Your niece will enjoy this! Love the coloring on your holly and the bird as well as the clouds in the sky! So cute! I agree with you.....our world still needs some humor with all the everyday ups & downs! Thanks for sharing & have yourself a great day, too! Hugs~

It is cold here in Spain right now, but we don't normally see any snow, so I like your soft cloud background. It is a cute little bird too. Kate x

How cute bird with his Santa's hat!! :) He makes me smile and absolutely love the clean design and the soft sky that makes the stamps pop. Beautiful colouring with your markers and the touches of glaze!
In Italy we haven't the same humour of USA (and English) people, but I'm sure that that sign will definitely attract the attention of many customers to the business manager! :D
Big hugs, peace and love as always from my little part of the world, dear friend!
