Happy Thursday everyone and welcome!
While going through my overflowing box of stamped images, I found this bird image by Lindys Stamp Gang that I stamped at a friends house many years ago. I added some color with Copics and glaze pens; hand-drew the branch, and added a couple black & white snippets of dsp to a pretty blue card base. The sentiment is from the same stamp set and I added a few sparkly stickers just for fun. I added a little white cloud to the sky and covered it with Wink of Stella for more sparkle. The expression on this bird's face depicts exactly the way I feel today - probably because we're having yet another rainy, gloomy day.😑

Super cute card, Carol! I feel the same way about all this rain but thankfully it's not snow! We were out last evening getting groceries and got caught in a downpour! I love your coloring and the added branch. The layout is wonderful with the way you added the 2 different pieces of paper. Hopefully today we get some sunshine! Fingers crossed! Have a great day! :)
Oh my Carol, how cute and sweet bird you founded in your stash of stamped images! Your colouring is really good, you gave a beautiful dimension to the bird and her(his?) expression makes me want hugging her! :) You are very good also in drawing, I thought that the branch was part of the stamp!!!
Great use of your black&white scrap papers, the geometric patterns make the image just pop and love so much the cute cloud and the tiny sparkling stickers on the sentiment label. There is always something sparkling also in a not-so-good day, and we have to concentrate on it!
Here yesterday night we had snow and ice, so unusual in my zone. But today they have melted and sun shines again. Hope the same in your part of the world.
