Christmas in July

Hello and happy July! I cannot believe how quickly the calendar months are flipping over and we're already half-way through 2022!
As I make my way through my stash and purge items, I found this SU! tree punch that's been sitting on my shelf for a number of years and barely been used. I used it to make some trees for this card and then it went into the donation box. I used snippets of green, snippets of white and some tiny snippets of red paper to create this card. I used Lawn Fawn hillside dies along with a SU! Softly Fallen embossing folder to make the background, then used some Diamond Stickles to create some sparkly snow on the hills, snowflakes and trees. I used a SU! mini star punch to make the red stars, a Lawn Fawn stitched snowflake die, and a SSS pre-printed sentiment.

I'm sharing this with the Snippets Playground Challenge #431 - which is A/G using our snippets.

Thanks for stopping by and I wish everyone a wonderful weekend, and for my American friends, I hope you all enjoy a wonderful Independence day celebration on Monday!

Carol

What a stunning card Carol - I just looked up at my SU punches on a shelf above my desk and also have that same punch - barely used. I might well 'borrow' your idea please - gorgeous result!

Hi dear Carol!! Hope that your chough finally is going away...! I made a similar card with punched trees for Rudolph Days challenge but finished lately so I didn't published it. It seems that we have had the same idea, but I love my punch tree and don't want give it away! :D Love the sparkling of your trees, the red stars and the embossed snowy background, as well the snowbanks with that cute snowflake to enhance the sentiment!
Sending hugs and love on your way!! Have a peaceful weekend!

These months are flying by Carol! I hate that, especially in the summertime. Winter can rush on by as far as I'm concerned, but it never does. lol Love your Christmas in July tree card! You made great use of the tree punch, dressing them up so nicely. I'm not ready for snow, so I'm only looking at it on your card. lol Hope you have a wonderful 4th of July!!! I'm just going to enjoy it from home and what ever fireworks I see, I see....if any. Then I will watch them on TV...maybe. Hugs, Brenda

Ha ha ha . . . I ALSO have that SU punch (plus the matching stamp set) and probably haven't used it as much as I should. Maybe both Di AND I will be getting ours out soon thanks to your inspiration!

I love the festive card you've made here using up lots of snippets. GJ!

Glad you're feeling better. I see you've got a turn in the hammock later. I'll wander over with a LARGE Sarngria with extra good stuff for you! See ya later Alligator! xxx

This is fabulous Carol, I love the trees and the sparkle on them, lovely snow hills and embossing and the snowflake is the perfect touch, a beautiful card. I heard through the grapevine that you haven't been good lately, I hope you improve soon and able to get around.
