I've really been dragging my feet with making cards lately and Christmas will be here before I can blink my eyes, so I got busy and made a few multiples of the same design with assorted papers and colors.
I used the SU! Festival of Trees Stamp set along with the matching tree punch. I stamped the trees on green snippets with Versamark ink, then embossed them with white ep. I added dots of assorted Stickles glitter glue for some colorful ornaments, then stamped, heat-embossed, and fussy cut the stars and pots the trees are standing in. The ovals were MFT stitched die-cuts and the papers are SU! along with other snippets I had in my stash. The sentiments are from the Festival of Trees Stamp set too.
The polka dot dsp is the flip side of the stripes in the first one and it's by SU! The green piece I've had forever but don't know the manufacturer.
Here's another variation.
I've had this SU! piece of dsp for quite some time and decided to make a non-traditional card with blues and browns. I think this might make a good masculine Christmas card. I paired it with some Early Espresso cardstock from SU!
Making multiples of one design is a good way to add to that Christmas stash, so I have a few more cards ready to go at the end of this year.
Sharing card #1 with the Alphabet challenge blog which is "H" is for holidays
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're managing to stay cool during this heat wave! I'm hibernating indoors and keeping my fingers crossed that our aging A/C keeps working until we get through this! Sunday is supposed to be the hottest day of them all.
Stay cool!!

What a great collection of cards, Carol. I especially like how you embossed the trees with embossing powder. You may have inspired me to make some Christmas cards today! (hoping it would make me feel cooler with all this heat that we are having....One can hope anyway.

Hi dear friend! First of all thank you for your comment and for your intellectual honesty, it's a very rare thing these days :) I don't practice meditating, but stay silent in my garden watching the nature and, as you do, I'm grateful for my life and all the little things. You notice that I don't waste nothing, but instead a lot of years ago I wasted my television and now I stay more happy! :D
You used a very beautiful design and pretty papers to make your bunch of Christmas cards! The sketch is very elegant and sweet, as well the fabulous trees with all the white stamped/embossed decoration inside!! Love them!! Inside the double ovals they make just the perfect toppers, so eye-catching with the added colourful drops of glitter glue! Must have taken you a lot of time, and you also fussy cut the stars and the cute pots, how many patience you put in them!! The last one variation is the most beautiful in my opinion (I'm always out of the schemes LOL :D ), and surely it's perfect for a masculine recipient!
Big hugs, good vibes on your way and best wishes for better days ahead to you too!
Great selection of Christmas cards, Carol. I'm so behind making Christmas cards this year, I think I need to start batch making some. xx
I would love to see your pp stash, Carol! You have great papers and the best ideas for using them. These are wonderful designs, very detailed! Hope your a/c keeps chugging and you get a huge cool-down next week. Hugs, Darnell

What a wonderful stack of Christmas cards you made, Carol! I hope it helped you beat the heat?! I love each and every one and the design! Such pretty papers and that cute tree make these absolutely perfect for the holidays! Yes, it will be here before we can blink! I'm hoping your ac unit will get you thru this blazing hot heatwave! The York Fair started yesterday and I cannot imagine anyone being out in this heat! I'm content on staying inside playing with stamps & ink! Stay cool, my friend and happy stamping!!!
It always amazes me how using the same design with all different papers can make such different cards. These are all beautiful and what a way to add to your stash. Plus using up so many papers. Good for you!
Oh, such pretty Christmas cards! Love the beautiful tree and lovely papers! Great design, too! Great way to make up several at one time, well done!!
I absolutely LOVE them all Carol! The Festival of Trees set is so pretty and I love that punch that makes it so quick to punch out! Love the use of the snippets of course and your design is very nicely put together with the mix of papers too! I actually think I have some of that blue and chocolate striped paper somewhere...as you know...we have snippets galore, right?! I think I was "saving it" for masculine cards...now look at me! LOL Great collection to get Christmas going friend!
Brilliant cards, designs and love the images, perfection + ♥
We've had a hot week too Carol. You must surely have felt cooler making all those wonderful Christmas cards! Love the traditional green and red combos, but also your more masculine colour scheme. Yet MORE inspiration from you with this great SU set! Thanks! xxx

Beautiful designs, Carol!
Love them all.
Nice way to build up the Christmas collection fast with subtle changes... I love the traditional feel and the more masculine was a nice surprise, a bit different but very cool.
I hope your AC unit continues to keep you cool, we've had to tolerate fans blowing out warm air, positively delightful. The UK is definitely not equipped to cope with any form of weather! 🤔 x
Lovely cards - love the different colours and papers. Thank you for joining us at The Alphabet Challenge xx Lynda/Loopyloo DT
