Coffee Time

I made this card after seeing the Freshly Made Sketch Challenge #537, but unfortunately it closed before I could get my card posted. Story of my life - a day late and a dollar short๐Ÿ˜‰
Anyway, I used a cute little die by I.O to make the coffee cup, adding a tiny die cut heart in the center. The circle was die cut with a MFT stitched die and some very old retired SU! Soft Sky dsp. The sentiment is by Lil Inker (now closed) and here's the inside....

The cup and sentiment are both from the same Lil Inker set of stamps and a die, and I added some aqua Nuvo drops to the little cape.

Something happened in blogland over the weekend and I cannot leave comments on some of my followed blogs. It keeps telling me I need to sign in with Google and I'm already signed in, so I don't know what's going on. If I'm not commenting, that's why and I don't have email addresses to let you know; which is why I'm mentioning it here. All these hiccups with blogger are really trying my patience lately.........sigh.

Thanks for stopping by and have a good week ahead!

Carol

It's a shame you missed the deadline because this card is so perfect for it. The inside cup is adorable.

Always ready for coffee - like the card. A friend has had that same problem with Blogger and I've had a few issues as well on and off. She kept trying and eventually the problem seemed to solve itself so fingers crossed for you

I did see that sketch and I love your take on it here especially with that little coffee to go cup and the tiny heart! Sometimes even though the challenge ends, it's still nice to have a reference for a design. That little caped coffee is too cute! Sometimes I feel my coffee cup really is a super hero some days! LOL!! TFS

Sorry for your delay about entering in the challenge, I understand very well as I often do the same!! :) This card is adorable and LOVE the cute inside!!!! Beautiful dsp, I thought was a pierced panel :D Love your take of the sketch, fabulous work as always!
Google is giving a lot of problems lately. Happens that I'm not be able to comment on some blogs because I can't click in the space to write! If I wait a while, then I can, but it’s nerve-wracking.
On my blog sometimes I find comments from my followers not published because waiting for moderation. But I have not activated the moderation of comments!
This post by Darnell can help.

Sending big hugs dear Carol, enjoy your days the more you can!

That little cup is so cute! They just had on the news tonight that if you drink 1.5-3 cups a day you lower your risk of death!

This card is perfect for any day of the week especially for that coffee lover in your life! I love my coffee every morning and the peace & quiet that comes with it! Love this card, Carol! So sorry you missed the deadline but so glad you still shared it with us! Blogger seems to get a wild hair every now & then so I hope it solves it's own problem eventually. Thanks for sharing and stay cool today! I hate running my ac but can't live without it when it's this hot!

Your coffee card is so cute inside and out! Love the pop of red with the heart! Sorry to hear about the loss of your BIL’s wife. You made a thoughtful beautiful card for him. I’m sure it will be appreciated! As far as commenting goes, I’ve had the same trouble, which has left me perplexed as well.

OH! Carol, htis is an awesome card, I'm sure it would be in the running for a win if you had managed to get it into the challenge, I love the "super" coffee cup insert.
Frustrating about Google, I just go out and back in and usually I can comment. Good Luck.

Well darn! It's still a super cute card, Carol, even if the challenge closed before you could enter it. Hope you get your blogger issues worked out. I'm so computer challenged that when something goes wrong, I just have to wait it out. lol

A super card Carol, a great design - at least you had the pleasure of making it, even if you were a bit late to join the challenge.
I have noticed blogger doing a few funny things at the moment as well!

What a cute coffee card Carol! I am loving your little "to go" coffee cup on the front. Fun papers and the light blue really makes your coffee cup pop. A fun sketch too. I am like you and am always a dollar short and a day late, or maybe it is more like 100 dollars short and a 100 days short! lol Blogger is frustrating so many lately. I don't understand what is going on either nor do I understand why we have to be tortured by blogger so much. Such as life, why should anything be easy?! Hugs, Brenda

A brilliant coffee-themed card. Love the papers and the little die.

Both comments you left me over the weekend went into my SPAM folder! I told Blogger off and said you most definitely WEREN'T spam and then published them! I am having to keep an eye on the spam folder in my comments section as you are not the only one this is happening to!
