Christmas Gnome

I have a Christmas card to share today made with some Kringle & Co designer paper, a lawn fawn die-cut tag, and a SSS Gnome die. The embossed strip was made with a SU! (R) snowflake ef, then sanded for a bit of white to show through. The sentiment was done with a (R) SU! set called Endless Wishes (2003)

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Retro Rubber Challenge #183 - A/G must use stamps older than 1 year

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you all a wonderful, peaceful day.

Carol

Gorgeous, Carol! I'm a huge fan of this dapper gnome, how cool he's on a festive tag - and I LOVE that sentiment! A keeper for sure! Thanks so much for playing at Retro Rubber!

Your skills to mix and match patterned papers always stunning me :) You have a great eye! The gingham matches the gnome dress and the dp with the tiny Santa heads matches the gnome!! Brilliant! :D How cute and lovely Christmas card! Love so much the sanded embossed stripe, it really makes the tag with the cute gnome pop out!
Lots of big hugs dear Carol!! Have a lovely end of the week!

Aww, what a splendidly charming Christmas make! I count myself fortunate if I am able to start making holiday cards in November (LOL!) and so admire those who manage to get a serious headstart on theirs many months in advance.

Gingham and a sweet gnome, what could be better? He's just darling and I love how he echoes the backing paper. I love the embossed and then distressed strip, very effective and a great way to add interest and texture.

I hope you're doing OK, take care x

Oh my goodness, this card is so cute Carol! I am really loving the plaid and the santa paper, the embossed red strip picks up on the other pops of red. Your little gnome is adorable in his plaids as well, he looks so happy sitting on that sweet tag! Love, love, love! Hugs, Brenda
