While sorting through my monstrous stash of dsp pads recently, I found these remnants and decided to use them up. I found a sketch that I liked, and used some of the smaller snippets to put these cards together.
Before I go any further, if anyone has a fix for copying challenge graphics to our blog posts, I'd appreciate it. I can no longer copy and/or paste any graphics since a blogger update changed my ability to do that. I'm aware that some challenges require those graphics to be included in our posts, but blogger left me out in the cold! Now I'm also having difficulty moving post write-ups to the center as that feature has become finicky too.
The first card was made with a SU! bird punch. The branch is also included with the punch. I added a Lily of the Valley sentiment to this one along with a few GMD soft blue beads for fun.
I'll enter this into:
the Paper Players PP589 theme challenge of "birds or bees"
The Allsorts Challenge week #674 - A/G option of "scenic"
I made a masculine birthday card by adding an old SU! Hodge Podge hardware photo turn to the corner of this, along with some gemstones and an enamel black star sticker The sentiment is by Simon Says Stamp.
I'll enter this into the Krafty Chicks Challenge #609 - all occasions
Last but not least I made this one with a Memory Box Prim Poppy die, cutting the flowers from more tiny snippets of these blue pattern papers as well as pastel green for the stem. I added some Wink of Stella to the little bud and added a Sweet 'n Sassy stamped sentiment; then added a few aqua Nuvo drops randomly for sparkle.
This card will be going to the Dies R Us challenge #192 - A/G but must use dies sold at their store. (Memory Box used here)
It's also going to the Snippets Playground #427, since all of these cards began with using snippets of that leftover paper pad!
If you stayed with me for this longer-than-usual post - THANKS!
I wish you all a wonderful day and as always, thank you for stopping by!
Carol

I love ALL of these....fresh color palette and great way to use up the scraps.
I have found that if I can't post a challenge icon to my blog (hate getting that dreaded message), I save them to a photo file, just like where I save the photos of my cards. Then I can insert them into my blog using the same function to insert my regular photos. Hope that's helpful! I do wish blogger techies would leave well-enough alone!
Three great cards and you've certainly used up some of your DSP supplies. The bird punch is a blast from the past and one that I have although it's not been used for a while, time to maybe give it an airing. I've heard of several people having various issues with Blogger posts behaving in an odd way so I guess they've maybe tweaked things to 'improve' it. If something is working why change it I wonder??? Hopefully it will settle down in time.
Wonderful trio of blue snippets cards. Great layout too.
Thanks for submitting homework to the Snippets Playground. I hear you’re sitting out the Maypole dancing, but I hope you enjoy watching it with a glass of something chilled in your hand!!! Xxx
A beautiful collection of cards, Carol. To add a graphic from a challenge blog, I right click on it and save it to a folder on my computer. I then add the graphic the same as I'd add one of my photos. xx
Hi dear Carol! How wonderful way to use your scraps of beautiful and sweet patterned papers! Your designs are always awesome! Love the cute bird on the branch, with the lovely sentiment and the beads! The masculine one is so pretty with that big sentiment and the hardware photo turn is a perfect masculine detail!! I have a little bow of them, thanks for the inspiration about how to use these items! :)
The last one is my favourite, those paperpieced flowers look delightful!!
Sending a wagon of big hugs, love and good thoughts on your way!

A beautiful set of cards use from paper scraps! I am sorry to say that I ordered 3 new paper pads just this morning. I have tons to use but wanted more. I was considering using a bunch of old ones to send to the card drive my church is doing for bday cards for a nursing home. I just need to sit down and do them. Have a great day!
Just had to laugh at your "monstrous stash of dsp pads"!! You and me both. I think I have a problelm actually when I go into a craft store. I CANNOT walk by them. hahaha
But you have used these papers beautifully. Your cards are wonderful.
What a marvelous set of cards! Your designs are perfect for using those pretty papers. The little bird on a branch creates a sweet scene. Thank you so much for joining the challenge at Allsorts this week.
Beautiful, lovely designs and those colours work well together ♥
A lovely collection of cards Carol, pretty pastel blue papers.

I absolutely love these.
And such sweet and pretty colors too.
Happy Monday, Carol.
Beautiful set of cards. Great shade of blue and I love the masculine card
I've given up trying to blog my way.... Blogger is just a spoilt child and sometimes it's easier to give in...
I love the classic blue patterns. And so fun that they work well with a bird, flowers and bold happy birthday!
I also save to my photos and then use Insert Image; however, there are a number of challenges lately that won't let me save the photo to begin with (I don't know if it's me or them!) - so not sure that's a true solution. Blogger will always be a problem - although I've seen a lot of grumbling from Wordpress people lately too!!
Darling collection of cards Carol! I am hoping someone has an answer to your question, I'll be back to see.
Oh so pretty, Carol! I love each & everyone of your amazing cards and the layouts are perfect to showcase your pretty papers! What a great way to use up scraps, too! Well done on the challenge! I don't have any advice on adding your challenge graphics because I know how blogger likes to change things on us. I hope someone can help you! Hugs~
Three wonderful cards that are the same but different! I love the papers and that is a great way to use them. Each card is unique in it's own way and each one is terrific.
These cards are absolutely beautiful Carol! Love the monochrome color with the different patterns! I adore that little bird so much and can't part with that punch! LOL Good for you on getting some of those papers used up friend!
Sorry your having problems with your postings and hope you sort it out.
OH! What gorgeous cards Carol, I love each one the die is gorgeous and is the paper, super designs also. As for the graphics, I save the image to my desktop and then pull it into my blog from there, I can then delete it from the desktop immediately.

Three fabulous cards here! This is such a great way to use up your scraps. I've been having the same blogger issues. I'm now saving images to my files and adding them as needed, as other's have already suggested. Thanks so much for linking up to the DRU challenge. I wish you the very best of luck!!
What a stunning set of cards Carol! LOVE the papers and all the blue hues you used - and the designs are delightful! Great use of snippets!
Hugs

These are all so very nicely done. I think I need to go through my snippets more... (and get out my SU bird punch...Haven't used it in a long time!
wow! These are all wonderful and make me want to go and create with snippets! Thanks for taking part in my challenge week at Allsorts challenge. Lynn x
BTW the only work around for the graphics I have is to save the picture and then import it as a photo rather than copy and paste.
Oh gosh, I wish I knew how to help you with blogger Carol! I don't know why things have to change with blogger so much and why it has to cause so many issues! I know Liz has had issues too. It's just crazy to me. I sure hope someone else can help you out! Wow, I am so loving these amazing cards Carol! They are so beautiful, loving those papers you used as well as the sketch. I really need to get my little bird punch out and use it more often, I always have loved this punch and you had make such a pretty card using this bird. Might have to case it! I love the masculine look you got with the second card, just a sentiment, some enamel dots and the star made it eye popping, but not girly. Love it! And the last card, love this die you used, it is so feminine and I just love it! Hugs, Brenda
What a wonderful assortment of cards using this soothing color scheme. I love your little blue bird - what a fabulous image for a friendship card. So glad you joined us at The Paper Players this week

What a great set of cards!! Love the cute bird. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players this week!
Super lovely trio of cards. I have always been a big fan of aqua/turquoise and black paired together. It channels a bit of a mid-century vibe (adore!), but is no less contemporary at the same time.
