Pink Birthday Card

I've had this Impression Obsession Geometric Background die for quite some time and haven't used it much at all, so I decided to make a birthday card for a blogging friend of mine who loves the color pink. I started with some GinaK bubblegum pink cardstock, and backed it with a piece of dsp from a DCWV black and white paper pad. I used a Darice die to cut some flowers in coordinating colors, and added a stitched tag combo for the sentiment - adding some pink twine to make a little bow.

I'll enter this into the Cards 4 Galz challenge #171 - think pink

We finally warmed up a little yesterday and I got to sit on the front porch for a while. Feeling that warm sun on my face was so relaxing!
Wishing you a beautiful day wherever you are, and thanks for stopping by!

Carol

I like the look the geometric die gave to your card. You can't go wrong with pink and black and this is so pretty, Carol. The patterned paper is perfect.

Wow! The pink geometric diecut is a such fabulous match with the lacy pattern of the black&white paper!! You have a fabulous eye for mixing patterns! Love so much the flowers with the tag and the little string bow! Love also the palette of colours you used, it looks so feminine and sweet!! Your card is another strike! :D
Sending big hugs and positive thoughts as always dear Carol, have a lovely day!!

Love it, Carol! Such pretty colors and that diecut is amazing! Your friend is going to love it! We are slowly warming up then we get rain to cool it back down. I seen upper 70's almost 80 for next week. I sure hope we don't go right to hot & humid weather just yet! TFS and have a wonderful day!

This is gorgeous Carol, love the pink and black and that die is just wonderful. As for warmth? Well we have had some, then back to low clouds and drizzle, not even some good rain to speak of, chilly winds too. I would LOVE some lovely warm days to sit and bask in the garden. I'm so glad you've had some to enjoy.

OMGosh, this is such a cool and beautiful card Carol! I love that die you used for the background and I love that background paper too. It lets the die pop so nicely, but it I love how it lets the background paper shine though. The flowers are fabulous and I am really loving the pink, white and black color combo! Hugs, Brenda
